“Summer Visit”
Reviewed June 24, 2014 via mobile

Nicely appointed spacious rooms with a great view and perfect location. Security was friendly and beach access was great.
Not a hotel so don't expect anyone cleaning your room or bringing you fresh towels; you're on your own along with cleaning and supplying your own toiletries if you run out.

The room was amazing, the view was amazing, and the location was perfect. They have a guard on watch 24/7 and it gated. We where there for 3 nights and never got room service offered. The rooms do not have room phone. Overal amazing; however, it was to expensive. When we were there we found other rooms for 1/2 the price.

Visited Rosarito Beach. On Saturday 2/22 and Sunday 2/23 did not know where i was going to stay. Found this place by driving around. All I can say is Location Location Location. Had a 1 bedroom condo on the first floor. With kitchen and room to stretch. The sliding doors opened up to the pool. A short walk to the beach through a walk way. With security gate, Close to all food, beer and shopping. Security was helpful with everything I asked. Check in was very fast and simple. No maid service but everything was good and clean Everything seems to be very calm. First time crossing the border in car in over 7 years Will return in near future

Room Tip: Bring extra blankets it was a bit in cool side I dont like heater witch it had available

We rented a condo in Oceana Tower II, a four bedroom with a fully equipped kitchen. We stayed at Rosarito Inn August 31-Sept 2nd 2013. I am from San Diego and I have been traveling to Baja more and more lately. I discovered Rosarito Inn Condo.'s through a friend who has previously stayed here and loved it.
My daughther turned 18 and it was time to celebrate, friends and family traveled here and loved it. We cooked, drank, chilled out on the balcony, watched the sunset, enjoyed the A/C because the weather has been very muggy in SD and Baja, went swimming, soaked in the jacuzzi, walked onto the beach. The condo was great, 24 hours of security and gated parking. The condo is minutes away from the clubs down here, Papas n Beer, Club Mayan, Coco beach. Great location, right on the beach, close to shopping, food and stores. I will come back here and stay and next time bring the younger kids to enjoy the beach and scenary. FYI: you have to take out your own trash, bring bags and extra T.P. Lol. It was a great time for the ten of us who stayed here, no fuss, no problems, only memories to take home with us.

Room Tip: Jacuzzi closes at ten, security was pretty strict about keeping to those hours. A oceanfront condo i...

Where to start - the people at the check in office are not friendly (a smile would be nice) and act like they are doing you a favor. The condo had worn out cushions in the living room and we eventually called down for some sheets to cover the cushions. Full kitchen but no paper towels, sponge, dish cloth, etc. How do they expect you to wash the dishes? No extra toilet paper. No chairs on the balcony and had to drag the chairs from the breakfast bar to be able to sit and look at the beach.

Eventually asked for another room as we could not see staying in a room with sheets on the cushions when we were expecting company for my birthday. Next condo was a bit better but no dish soap, paper towels, sponge, etc and we had to ask my wife's niece to bring us supplies. Two plastic chairs on the deck that were so dirty my 21 year old college student son would not sit on them. The place is also a death trap. One elevator and one set of stairs that runs the length of 10 floors, and no sprinkler system. The balconies appear to be falling apart (salt water erodes the rebar and the concrete starts to spall off the decks).

The setting is nice though, right on the beach and only a block from the main drag, with all the shops and restaurants and taco shops. Yes, it is loud at night, as the other people have said, but Rosarito Beach is a party town and that is to be expected.

Would I stay there again, no way. I am too used to the "luxuries" of the Holiday Inns, where you can drink the water (and brush your teeth with the water), have more than one bar of soap, they make up your bed every day and clean the bathroom (and have an extra roll of toilet paper with out asking for it). If your standards are not high, this may be the place for you. Just understand what you are getting into and come prepared to hit the local Calimax if you are going to do any cooking and washing of dishes. You may also want to bring your own chairs so you can sit on the balcony and enjoy the scenery. If your standards are higher (say Holiday Inn), then find another place.

Room Tip: As for a room with a beach view.

We stayed here from August 2nd to August 5th in CDM Room #611. The room was as pictured on the website and clean. The view was great and the balcony made relaxing in the morning extra nice. The loud music from Bombay Bar next door might be a problem for some so be sure to book a room on the other side of the tower if you're a light (or not so light) sleeper. We had earplugs so the music wasn't a problem. This is Rosarito after all and loud, late nights should be expected. Overall the property was clean and the parking was secure and safe. Check-in was a little slow but not horribly so. Would we stay there again? Yes, because the location is awesome, the rooms clean, and the balcony is a must. We might ask for a room opposite the clubs though.

Room Tip: Light Sleeper? Ask for a room opposite the Bombay Bar next door.

Unfortunately our spring break vacation to Rosarito was a disaster. Reader should keep in mind we are an American family traveling with two kids. We arrived in Rosarito to huge crowds and spent an hour trying to find this “hotel.” The name Rosarito Inn is deceiving. Rosarito Inn is not a hotel, but a condo sub-let service. We ended up in a large unit in the Oceana condos. The condo itself was fine, but it is located right next to an open-air disco that had an all-night rave. We did not sleep a wink. The music continued until the morning. To give you an idea of how loud the music was the pictures in the children’s room vibrated off the walls and we were on the seventh floor and had windows closed!
I can imagine during a quiet time of year this could be a pleasant stop, but I would advise families to stay in a quieter area. If you are looking for a hotel with any services, this is not a good option.

Easter weekend is Semana Santa, a holiday weekend in Mexico. Rosarito is a well known “party town” and the musical special events were clearly posted on our web pages. This guest never requested to be moved to a quieter room. Contrary to this guest’s assertion Rosarito Inn owns all its rooms and does not sub-let or market any rooms not owned by Rosarito Inn. We are sorry this guest was disturbed by the festivities in Rosarito on Easter weekend and cordially invite them to return for a visit on a non-holiday weekend.
