Stayed 2 night with the family. It was a little cold the first night the second night we requested another blanket. We received it in about 15 min later. The bathroom and bed rooms were clean. Very quiet hotel when the spring brakers are not in town. The food was also good. Good parking area. Guards always on duty

Never ever stay at this hotel. You are better off camping at the beach or sleeping in your car! We went for the weekend and there was NO WATER! which means, toilets that don't flush, hands you can't wash, no shower and an overflowing toilet when 9 hours later they attempted to bring the water back. The shampoo bottles where just that, bottles, no shampoo in them, the towels were gross, old dingy and stained! The bedspreads had cigarette holes all over. We asked for compensation and the "manager" did not know how to handle the situation. I was embarrased for him. Everyone in the hotel was very upset about not having water, and all he could do was yell and say, "you can leave." This would be ideal, but there were no other hotels available. Either way we left and demanded a refund! This hotel really is a dump! The staff is extremely ignorant and have no customer service skills whatsoever!! They just look at you with an "I don't know what to tell you" look.
They lied to incomming customers about the conditions of this dumpster, we made it a point to be very descriptive about the real conditions and many people left. Worst experience ever! You will hate it, do not stay here; although the beach is a few feet away, you will not have a view and after the beach there is no place to wash off because the hotel never has water. Oh, they give you a pass for parking--and you think, wow this is cool. But guess what, there is never any parking and they have you park in this dirt mountain with nails and spikes all over the ground. Yuck!

We checked into the hotel early Friday afternoon for a little family vacation. We thought that the hotel was a little shabby for what we paid for. (old used furniture, and the carpets were FILTHY!!) At approximately 2pm on our second day, the entire hotel lost water, it wasn't restored until 9:30 that night. My husband and I went down to talked to the manager and he basically told us that we would be refunded 50% of the second night's rate AND would have to leave and find OURSELVES another hotel. Due to the weekend, it was impossible to find a new hotal and thus we were forced to stay with our 10 mo. old baby. Once the water was reconnected at 9:30 pm, (8 1/2 hrs later!!) the pressure burst one of the pipes on the toilet tank and flooded the bathroom and large sections of the carpet. Maintenance was called twice for 2 seperate floodings, and the toilet was not fixed, rather the water was shut off resulting in no bathroom. By 3:30 am the stench of urine and feces throughout our room became unbearable and were forced to leave WITH NO REFUND. The worst experience ever!!.

  • Liked — It was available
  • Disliked — Management did not care about the hotle clients, they just wanted to rent a room.

What seemed like a nice hotel on the beach, turned out to be a rat hole dump... Even though we made a reservation, when we got there they said we didn't have a room reserved. So after making expensive calls and trying to figure out what happened for an hour, they come up to us saying they found our reservation (they spelled our name wrong.) To top it off, we had a master suite reserved but they had rented them all out by the time they found our reservation, so we got stuck with a standard room for an overpriced $170 for one freaking night. We go up to our room only to find a hole in our ceiling and pubic hair on the bathroom floor. There were flies buzzing around the place and it just wasn't pretty. Beware! You can't say you haven't been warned.

  • Liked — Not being inside the hotel.
  • Disliked — Front desk service.

Unsure if you wanna stay? ive got a good unbiased review on the place. anything you wanna know, i know. beeber00@yahoo.com, if you are reeeally that paranoid and have questions. Review:

(on the posting rules) No heresay? What is this, a subpeona? Anyway.

I would like to start off with an inquiry as to who will be staying.

Wife and the kids?

Spring Breakers?

A weekend gettaway?

Heres the breakdown: for the wife and kids, in MY experience, its not
bad. Sure, i stayed in a 2 bed room, on the 5th floor. The floors about the fifth are being worked on.

I looked at the scary reviews and decided to stay anyway. I expected hell, but when i got there, no wet beds, no bed bugs, clean towels, working plumbing, spotless rooms, no trouble booking.

back to those who apply: spring breakers. its nice. you can go, they got a bar, but i mean, no one is ever in there. its lame. the pool looks a little green, but didnt seem unsanitary. the jacuzzi sucked, i mean, it was cold, and they wouldnt turn it on.

it wasnt broken, they just wouldnt turn it on. i mean what the flip.

..i say flip because im not allowed to use profanity. blast.

weekend gettaway: hey, if youre with that special someone, two rooms aint gonna kill you. so there is one little flaw in the room, (which,
i experienced none), think about it. youre in rosarito mexico. you dont go to stay in your room all day. youre going to be out, getting authentic mexican tacos for a buck, or enjoying the sites.

also: consider this.

those who enjoyed their stay arent likely to go back to this website and express their joy.

this may be a stereotype, but its so true, and youll understand.

when a couple goes here and something goes wrong, assuming the couple
are both strait, the guy will say oh whatever, its no big deal.

the woman, however...now shes a different story.

she, on the other hand, will respond with

I cant believe the service here. i paid 100 dollars for this room! i want good service! i cant yell at pancho downstairs because he wont care!

so what does she do?

she writes a negetive review on the internet! release her anger, get back at the hotel, and ultimately, seem self-satisfied for doing so.

am i right or am i right?

obviously there are going to be more negetive feedback than good, because people who enjoyed arent coming back here.

unless, of course, youre me.

i had a good time. nothing went wrong, for me. i went for spring break.

oh, and on the 'dark alley' and the 'loud dog'.

i did indeed see the dog. it didnt bark. and yes, the alley is dark.

..at night. you can walk down the alley during the day and get to the beach in a few minutes. its nice. if youre in rosarito for the clubs and food, (who isnt), then this hotel is the farthest from them. its a ten minute walk to get there. its straight, no turns. no need to worry about something happen, as long as you dont go down any
dark alleys, but who is stupid enough to do that.

if you stay at the, i believe, 'pelican bay' hotel, or something to that extent, the price is about half, maybe less. i...ended up going with twins to their hotel, and they stayed there. it has a better view of the ocean, a better bar, and its cheaper.

bottom line: its not bad. pelican is better and cheaper. 10 minutes from action. no jacuzzi. ._.

thanks, ill be here all night.

ps. i included a picture of myself with the review, not because im egotystical, but because im incredibly good-looking.

DO NOT STAY AT THIS HOTEL. Looks can be deceiving!! We were overcharged, $140, for a room with nasty towels, no heat, no t.v remote and get this, BROWN WATER! The pipes must be very rusty because that's all that was coming out of the faucets and toilet. I couldn't even shower in this place that's how bad it was. I used bottled water to freshen up and get the heck out of there. When we complained about the water they practically laughed in our faces. Whatever you do... NEVER STAY AT THIS HOTEL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The outside looks nice but the rooms were ugly. The rooms had old paint and dirty towels which I thought was forgiveable. Also, it was freezing in the night. They overcharge for what the room is worth. There wasn't a deadbolt so I propped a chair against the doorknob while we were in the room (which made us feel safer). But our last night there while we were out, they went into my wife's purse and stole $100 out of it. We learned two things: never to go to this hotel again and never to leave money in your room again.
