We just returned from this authentic Mexican restaurant and were delighted with the service and food. Yes, it is very modest, but don't pass this one by for something fancier. As others have noted, it is a family run establishment. The daughter speaks excellent English, and took the time to gently correct some of the Spanish mistakes I was making. Thank you!

The margarita was delicious and strong. I could never drink two. We had guacamole to start, loaded with jalapenos, and not dumbed down for the gringos. We had two different types of chili rellenos; one with shrimp and the other with cheese, both large meals that included beans and rice. They offer a very extensive menu that includes breakfast (desayuno), which starts at 10:00 a.m.. We are here for 12 days and will definitely go back often.

Note: For Mexico, at all of the restaurants in Loreto the prices are surprisingly high. We are easily spending $25-35 for every meal with 3-4 beers and usually no appetizer.

This little restaurant along the main street in Loreto has great food and a great ambiance. The staff was great, and the bartender was happy to add a little tequila to a margarita to suit our taste!
I had a fish in foil which was excellent with clams and other mariscos. The soup was also great.
We will definitely go back next time in Loreto for some Authentic mexican food and drinks!

We went downtown Loreto to go to the Sun farmer's market. Afterwards we strolled the malachon, looked at the mission, and went into a few nice shops. Loved how clean it all was. From there we decided to look for a place to eat. Had been told of a couple of places, but a local advised us to go to Mexic Lindo y Que Rico. When we walked in there was no one else there. OK. They asked us if we were with the big party and we said no, so they seated us at a table for four. Shortly thereafter a huge group of young people came in and were seated at a huge table. By that time we had all ordered chicken enchiladas and a margarita. The drinks came first, in a huge glass. Our first sip told us they knew how to mage a margarita. Although there was the other very large group-they had prepared for them family style so our food came out very quickly. It was also extremely good. Our entire meal was very cheap and probably the best mexican food I have ever had. There is also an incredable piece of art work, it is a huge shark made up of tiny beads. Overheard an American local telling someone bits of the story but not much. Should have asked, because it is an amazing work of art. So, don't let looks deceive you, stop there for some great food and drink. Oh, below the sign out front, it says "Pancho's Martinas". The place is on the east side of the main street down toward the malechon. Just ask a local and they will tell you where it is!

We stopped by for an early dinner.
Best chile Rellenos - we ordered cheese and shrimp chile Rellenos both were delicious!
Also ordered chicken enchiladas and were equally delicious! I can't decide what was my favorite!
The portions are great size for the price.
Must stop breakfast looked vey inexpensive as well.
