“Amazing”
Reviewed August 19, 2013

Loved it, loved it, loved it! The snorkeling is amazing, everything you could want in a snorkeling site- many fish to look at, calm, crystal clear water, warm water, no crowds. The beach at Coronado Island is gorgeous, the colors are amazing. Francisco "Pajarito" took us in his panga, he was very friendly, professional and made it a great experience.

“The reason why you need to visit Loreto. Amazing!”
Reviewed August 16, 2013

The main reason why I stopped and stayed in Loreto is to take a boat trip to Coronado island. To get a boat ride you need to go at the end of the malecon, where all the fishing boats are waiting to take you to the nearby islands, the main one is Coronado. The average price is 1000 pesos for a boat, and they don't include anything, so bring your own water at least. The trip is about 3 to 4 hours, and they will show you around the island and take to a white sandy beach for resting and snorkeling. The island is very nice, but the best part is that you are likely to see dolphins, jumping mantas, sea lions, and maybe small whales. Amazing!

“Coronado Island”
Reviewed May 25, 2013

On our way to Coronado Island we saw a fin-back whale and thousands of bottle nose dolphins. Snorkeling on Coronado, we saw a Spotted Puffer fish, beautiful anemonies, colorful starfish, and many types of tropical fish. On our way back from Coronado we caught several fish, and saw flying Manta Rays! It was simply amazing!

“Dolphins, Whales and flying Manta Rays”
Reviewed May 21, 2013

We had the most amazing boat ride on our way to Coronado island. We saw thousands of dolphins, a blue whale, and Manta Rays jumping out of the water and doing flips in the air. Simply amazing!
