Yet again this hotel excels on all fronts. Apart from the excellent service, good food, very comfortable and clean rooms with lovely views the thing this hotel gets so right, where others fail miserably, is CONSISTENCY. It was as good this year as last year...in fact better. This is a reflection of their excellent manager and staff. They always deliver quality every time without being obtrusive at all. Excellent all round.

Room Tip: Try and secure a ocean view room. Second floor rooms and upwards are better that ground floor.

First visit to this hotel in the several times we've visited Loreto. Great property staff were friendly without being obtrusive. Needs are super comfortable. Rooms nicely decorated. Booked through mexvex who had a good rate.

We stayed there before and after a 4 day kayaking trip in the area. The place was clean and comfortable, the staff friendly and helpful. They have a a nice outdoor pool if you need to cool off - perfect for keeping the kids occupied. W did not eat there other than breakfast which was a good buffet but expensive (like all hotel breakfasts) we resorted to walking to other places for breakfast - tis a small town, everything is within walking distance. The hotel kept stored our luggage while we did the kayak trip which was a great help. However, on our return, it was the beginning of the Easter weekend and getting checked in again was a bit of a mess - very busy, appeared to be short staffed. It took a couple of hours to get our room and even then, it was not fuly ready to sleep in until 9pm. We got cleaned up from kayaking and went out to dinner. Beds etc were made when we got back.

The hotel is one of the nicer properties in Loreto. It has a couple of 'selling points'. It's location is next to the beachfront road - can be a blessing or a curse. Nice sunrises and view from your balcony. But....the noise in the evening to the early hours as the local boom-box cruisers motor past can keep you awake. We booked a superior suite which was very comfortable. The internet was fast and reliable, there were a few US TV channels available as well. Breakfast was comprehensive and fresh - starts at 7am. Taxi ride to the airport was $20 for 2 people. The bed was very comfortable and the bathroom was well equipped and spacious. The front desk were fast and efficient. Next time we'll stay back in the Posada De Las Flores - very comfy and much quieter fro sleep - plus the rooftop restaurant for breakfast is great.

Room Tip: If you choose a room close to the pool just be aware that it'll get very noisy from the kids bel...

From the check-in to the bartenders to the maids the La Mision has it down! The hotel itself is devine. Extremely comfortable beds, wonderful showers, clean and elegant rooms. The pool is in a convenient location for everyone including the fourth floor to enjoy. The food in the restaurant was excellent, the breakfast the best. We were there with the Baja Bush Pilot group and they were able to accommodate everyone with all our demands including providing a bag of ice for icing my new knee. My husband and I helped out with the Baja Bush owner, parking planes and checking people in so being busy, busy during the day we still were able to completely relax and feel as if we were totally on our own quiet relaxing personal vacation. The best "Baja" margaritas. I would highly recommend a stay at the La Mision. Centrally located to provide ocean views and convenient walking to the town. Info for fishing trips, kayaking, and quad rental or car rental available. This is not our first visit and continually improved the property.

Room Tip: First floor convenient to pool, views over ocean improve as you go up

We booked this hotel from La Paz through TripAdvisor on our way back up north following our trip down the Baja Peninsula. From TA we were directed to Booking.com where we made the reservation. Upon arriving at the hotel on March 16th we were advised by Filiberto at the front desk that they didn't do business with Booking.com any longer and there were no rooms available. When he learned that it was our 40th wedding anniversary, he worked some magic and gave us the best suite in the hotel!! He and the whole staff were amazing throughout our 2 night stay. The room was gorgeous beyond belief with a large terrace overlooking the sea and the most beautiful sunsets you will ever see. The pool is marvelous and the background music is tasteful and kept at a low volume (unlike many other hotels). The margaritas were very strong and yummy, as was the food in the restaurant, which was very modestly priced. Everything is sparkling clean. It is a very short walk into town and a most enjoyable stroll along the "malecon" (boardwalk). We are already thinking of taking the kids and grandkids on our next trip. Loreto has done a marvelous job of rennovating the oceanfront and are trying hard to keep it clean with lots of trash cans available. The town is still dusty and not so clean, but that is part of the charm of an old Mexican town. The church in Loreto was the first mission built in the "Californias" in 1697. This is the place to stay!!

Room Tip: All rooms face the Sea so there are no bad rooms!!!

You will not find a better hotel in Loreto. La Mision is a beautiful property with excellent views. Rooms are spacious and clean. Restaurant has good food and the best margharita's we found in Loreto. Rudy is the most helpful and friendly at the front desk. Be sure to walk 2 blocks and eat the La Palapa - best restaurant in town.

Room Tip: 401 - best room in the house!
