We were 4 couples who booked 4 rooms we got here and they offered us 2 rooms for 4 people each
Off course we didn’t accept and we had to leave the hotel
This was part of a longer trip with a stop in Cabo pulmo so first they overbooked and we had to change our dates to Cabo pulmo and they overbooked again offering us 2 rooms for 4 instead of 4 double rooms
They didn’t seem alarmed by this and said that’s all that is available the hotel is full
NEVER AGAIN

Speaking English was most inviting. Your staff's knowledge of the area and giving advice of things to do and see was very helpful. The room was huge and I would recommend the first floor. Walk right out and jump into the pool. The price of the room was excellant. In our room we had everything we could want including a full size frig.

Having to walk around the facility to leave my room when the shortest way to the lobby and parking is out the door leading to the pool. Unfortunately, they do not give you a key to that door. They need to spend time on maintenance of the room, like the shower head and lights.

Room tip: Get a room on the first floor. Easier access to the pool.

We really enjoyed our stay at this hotel. Nice clean home feel. Customer service was great. Located across the street from the malecon. Perfect location to go for a walk on the malecon. 20 mins away from Balandra. Carlos the manager was super nice and made sure we were taken care of. This is a family friendly hotel. We had young children here. We will be coming back soon.

This was our first time in La Paz and we had been traveling all day long to get there. We arrived late and the desk clerk was waiting for us. After checking in we were walked to our room - and what a beautiful room it was! Very clean. We stayed in #11 which is back in a corner on the ground level. Although I always try to stay away from laundry facilities at hotels, that is exactly where this room was (lodged between a round hut on one side and a little room on the other) but the staff were very quiet and respectful of our late morning hours. A two liter bottle of water was provided daily. The room had it’s own little patio with table and chairs and a tiny circular courtyard right outside our patio. A screen door ushered us into our tile floor room that had the two large hard beds, an ornate wooden cushioned couch with coffee table and chair. The T.V. is older and only a couple English speaking channels. Volume was very varied so we had to be mindful not to blast any upstairs guests out when we changed channels. Kitchen was well equipped (toaster, blender, toaster oven, high powered large microwave, large fridge, range with oven, coffee maker) clean and very handy. Nice counter/breakfast bar with stools for eating. AC unit over the bed kept us cool at night and a gentle speed. Beds firm but quite comfortable. Open closet and large bench in an area on the way into the bathroom. That is where we kept our suitcase (no chest of drawers). Plenty of non-slip hangers. Bathroom was large enough for two people and had its own hot water heater. They provided a magnifying mirror which I used sitting at the bar/counter in the kitchen to every day to apply makeup. Drapes on the picture windows to the patio area covered just fine although they were not black out drapes. The attendants were pleasant, professional and attentive keeping our trash emptied, floors swept, counters washed off (although we are very tidy so there was not too much for them to do!). The pool area was clean, refreshing and comfortable. Julio at the bar after 2 p.m. would bring you a drink at the pool if you liked plus there were tables in the shade at the patio bar. You signed in at hotel lobby desk for a couple pool towels, to be returned upon your departure (worked for us!) The restaurant was great and had heavenly freshly backed pastries, cakes, pies, tarts, cookies, breads - you name it! They would sell you small bottled water at a price. The hotel is directly across the street from the Malecon and so a small beach. You can walk to the harbor (north - the Palmira Harbor and Policentro) in less than 10 minutes. There is a ‘Speedy 7-11’ type store less than a block south of the hotel where you can get drinks, snacks, water, etc.). We walked about a mile south and up a block west to get to the nearest grocery store (has a large plastic cow on the roof) and we were able to get staples (coffee, bread, milk, eggs) and fresh fruit and veggies there. There were lots of great restaurants, ice cream parlors and shops about 2 miles south of the hotel (60 pesos did the trick in a taxi). We left a grocery bag of food in the lobby when we left and Carlos was a doll to immediately email us that we had left it however we could not return to retrieve because we were on a schedule to set sail to Loreto. This is a lovely hotel and the grounds are kept impeccable. There were a couple minor bugs for me. (1)No matter our room floors were washed daily, our feet were immediately darkened after treading on them - so they did not pass my white sock test and in fact were a tiny bit soapy/sticky. The grounds were clean and our feet clean from the pool but after walking into our room our feet were dark. I suggest the water used for mopping be fresh and changed at least once during the washing process to avoid that outcome in the future (2)There was no ice machine and no vending machine for a quick snack or soda but I guess that might be indicative of hotels in Mexico? We did not realize they had a little something in the lobby in the mornings until our last day but they were very sweet to put out some coffee, fruit, snacks and juices for their guests. (3) This is not so much to do with the hotel at all, but moreover the proximity of the beach. There is a small launch ramp directly across the street from the hotel. On Sunday, a family launched their two jet skis there and rode them for many hours, right there. They did not move out to the larger ocean area so that the gas fumes from the jet skis were terrible. The hotel is situated like a giant courtyard so the fumes came and stuck there while the loud 2 stroke noise echoed off the buildings which was not conducive to gentle rest and comfort. I don’t know what the hotel could do about that but it was not fun for me - I’m highly allergic and have asthma. Thankfully it was only one out of the 3 days we were there. There was a jacuzzi near the pool but it was not heated while we were there. All in all I would recommend this hotel to friends and family! It was an adorable, comfortable hotel with friendly, professional staff and the guests all seemed quite happy, including us!

Room tip: We were downstairs, in the back and the room was cool and quiet. I would avoid the very front rooms due to traffic.
