Trusting the Fodor's 2013 guidebook to Los Cabos, I ventured out from the Malecón to try the "freshest, tastiest" seafood, but left disappointed. I had the shrimp albóndigas (meatball) soup, which is a personal favorite dish of mine from childhood, but the meatballs were definitely over salted, although the broth was very flavorful
The claim tacos came recommended, but were OK, but nothing to ride home (or ride a taxi, as it were) about. We were the only ones in the restaurant most of the time on a Thursday night. Service was courteous and fast, but maybe after 30 years, this place has lost its flair? Or maybe we ordered the wrong things... Too bad.
