I've eaten at the Bismarck II at least 5 times, most recently in early June. Its a bit off the beaten path, but definitely worth the effort to find, particularly if you are a seafood lover. In fact, I believe it has the broadest range of seafood choices in LaPaz. I've sampled a few but can't seem to get by their whole fried snapper. Top notch. However their menu extends to fish tacos, chiles rellenos stuffed with lobster salad, marlin "meatballs" and paella, breaded oysters, or a sundae glass filled with ceviche or shrimp. The kitchen prepares extremely fresh dorado, halibut, snapper, or whatever else is in season in a number of ways. Chips and creamy dip are served while you wait. The ambience is quiet and laid back, though they can have a late dinner rush.
