Gringos will feel right at home. Located in a very nice up scale mall near Home Depot and Walmart. Be warned, no half and half and no nonfat milk. Otherwise, the drinks look, taste and cost about the same as in the US. Wonderful, huge pastries but expensive ($3-$5 range). Clean bathrooms, good wi fi, friendly and efficient staff. Air conditioned, with outside seating too. Am told by the employees this is the only Starbucks in La Paz, and the address on the corporate Starbucks in Mexico website is incorrect. Coffee bean selection is much more limited than in the US and very expensive (about $20 a pound). For better and less expensive coffee beans roasted on site and ground to your order in La Paz, check out my review for Cafe La Choya.
