We had a great visit. All they say about danger in Mexico is not true here. It feels very secure; it's a private island. The shuttle met us at the airport and dropped us at the boat dock.

Paraiso is truly a private paradise. Golf, pool, beach, fishing, recreation, etc. Lasting memories, on an amazing island.

My first time to La Paz. I Showed up at the airport with some buddies for a guys weekend and we were scooped up by the El Paraiso shuttle. that was the last time I had to worry about a thing. We were dropped at the dock for the boat ride over to the island. Shuttles depart every 30 min which was very convenient. When we arrived at Paraiso Del Mar we were met at the dock by a shuttle that took us to our condo. The condos are amazing! very nicely done. We hit the pool and the swim up bar and from then on I began a deeply relaxing weekend. Everyone along the way was very nice and very accomodating. All of the guests were really cool as well. Felt welcomed by everyone and the afternoon Pool and happy hours were a blast. People brought in fish they had caught that day, the cheff cooked it up right there and we all had some for appetizers. That was outstanding! The location is great and the property has a lot of area for growth. I thought I knew what I was getting into having travelled to Mexico many times before. I have to say, I am looking forward to going back with my family next time. You can have Cabo!

Paraiso del Mar was a wonderful resort to stay at. I really enjoyed the individual personalities within each unit. With its vast stretch of beach, this resort does not fail to provide wonderful beach areas with shallow waters accompanied with beautiful sunsets.
Being a resort undergoing further development, there is still much to do with the scenery. There are areas in which the resort presents a tropical appeal whereas there were other areas that retained the natural desert climate of La Paz. I am sure with the pending development, the scenery will all match up eventually.
The balcony views overlooking the pool and ocean were absolutely stunning and every unit had such a view. The pool, which is centrally located is an infinity pool capable of captivating any visitor. One aspect that I did not enjoy about the buildings was the one way access in and out of the building. Unfortunately the main entrance into the building leading to the stairs and elevator face the opposite direction from the pool and beach. This was inconvenient because one had to walk all around the building in order to get to the pool/beach. Being that these buildings are already built, little can be done to rectify this structural error, however, perhaps this issue can be addressed for the other towers undergoing construction.
Another aspect that needs to be addressed is the lack of wifi in the units. This is understandable being that the resort is still up and coming. Although there are specific internet spots located on the main land and at the Tendita store on the resort, however travelers would appreciate instant internet access in their rooms or even while they lounge by the pool. Additionally, the lack of a fitness center was an inconvenience. Although there were many outdoor activities to partake in, I was disappointed I could not get my daily run in. One could definitely run along the 1-2 mile stretch from the dock leading to the towers, however the constant pavement could be brutal on the runner's legs.
The staff at Paraiso Del Mar highly exceeded my expectations. Always friendly, very informative and always available. The Tendita store and the restaurant located at the golf course are all added benefits to the resort. Having a store on site was convenient and prevented having to take a boat taxi into town. The restaurant also had phenomenal food and was generously priced. In addition, the added use of boat taxis into town and en dales taking you around the resort were unique aspects of the resort. Having to transport all the time was not inconvenient but different, in that every where you went seemed important because of the extent of transportation needed.
Overall this is a wonderful resort and I would suggest it to anyone, families, honeymooners, perhaps everyone but spring breakers. La Paz has much more to offer than the typical Mexican tourist attractions. It's not crowded, it's not overwhelmed with spring break partiers, and the people are very friendly. La Paz is a beautiful and quiet city and provides the visitor with a sense of tranquility. There are many great restaurants and a few clubs/bars for those wanting to wet their whistles. There are not street vendors hassling you to buy souvenirs but there are many cute shops and vendors offering one of a kind jewelry and local goods. La Paz is a wonderful city and I would never hesitate to return and I would undoubtedly stay again at Paraiso Del Mar.

This was our honeymoon and we stayed at PDM as guests of a gracious homeowner. From the moment we arrived, the staff simply exceeded our every hope and expectation. From the property we experienced sea turtles being released into the sea, whale sharks and dolphins. Loved it!

Paraiso Del Mar was a real paradise. We went with close family members and had a great time. All the staff were so friendly, kind, happy and helpful. Rooms were specious, and very nicely decorated. The restaurant near the golf course had a wonderful food.
I am already planning a second trip to Paradiso Del Mar for next year.
