“Poor service, nothing special in the food”
Reviewed December 9, 2013

We never got ustencils and another couple we know went there too and had to get their ustencils in the kitchen themself. Food was ok but nothing special. The food took forever to come even if we were only 4 in the restaurant. Situation is very good, nice view

“Want to eat tacos like a local ? Eat here”
Reviewed November 4, 2013

Kind of burned out on the food at the bar I had been eating at so I tried Rancho Viejo. Man I am glad I did. Fast service and good food at a fair price. Had not had Tacos Al Pastor in years. They were so good I had to go back again. Had this drink I think it was called Lemonata / Naranga Orange lemonade. Non alcoholic and very refreshing if you have been out on the ocean all day.

They have more than one location. Both were fine.

Will go here every time I am in La Paz from now on !

“Original Rancho Viejo is Excellent”
Reviewed October 28, 2013 via mobile

We visit La Paz two or three times per year for underwater photography, and always have several meals at Rancho Viejo's original location. For dinner the molcajateis outstanding, and the chilaquilles are great for breakfast.

We typically have 10-12 photographers, and this large restaurant is excellent for groups.

“Lunch”
Reviewed October 20, 2013

We walked to the end of the Malecon and turned up the street to find another Rancho Viejo restaurant owned by the same one as on the Malecon. It is larger and has much more seating. The tacos we ordered were OK but not as many extras included as the smaller one on the Malecon.

“Where to eat in La Paz!”
Reviewed October 17, 2013

The arrachera tacos at Rancho Viejo are a big reason as to why I love visiting La Paz.
Wonderful service and the best option for a mexican meal.
