“Nice, a bit pricey”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed November 17, 2012

My husband and I spent the night in la Paz and booked a room here. It's quite lovely, the bedding (which is what made me come here) was very nice. Room was very clean. The only complaint we would have is the wifi, it's free but if you cannot get a signal free is well not worth it. The breakfast that is included was very lovely and the service was great.

We stayed for three nights at the hotel in La Paz - it was just perfect for our La Paz experience ! Central location on the Malecon and in a very quiet part of the malecon area which is important. The hotel is a beautiful paradise within the city - private, quiet and clean. The rooms are very nice with soft sheets and a very comfortable mattress. The outdoor space to eat breakfast and enjoy a drink are on the roof and it is a stunning view to the ocean and beautifully decorated. The only thing missing is a bar service. since there is no drinks served you had to go elsewhere. Breakfast was wonderful on the balcony and the service from all the staff was excellent. We would highly reccommend staying here - from what we have seen in La Paz, it seems it is the best hotel in the city!

I can't express enough how much we loved this hotel. The rooms were spacious and beautiful, the pool area was beautiful and the staff were amazing. As the hotel is only small the staff were really helpful and lovely. The location was fantastic and the hotel was really well kept. Simply a must if you go to La Paz

Room Tip: Ask the front desk about a day trip to Espiritu Santo.

Perfect location, staff was very friendly with recommendations for restaurnats, rooms are homey, comfortable. Breakfast very nice on upstairs veranda. La Paz itself is about a 2 day stay at best but if you're there, this is the place to stay!

We stayed here for two nights, but we'd have spent more time in La Paz as there are so many activities to be practised. You can go out for fishing, you can go to Isla Espiritu Santu, you can explore the lovely beaches out of city. For all these reasons the posada is a very good starting point. Moreover when you'll be back in the afternoon you will be able to look at a wonderful sunset. We stayed in a suite, very large and comfortable, with nice mexican furniture and with a lot of decorations. Bed was confortable and with Italian linen Frette. Complementary wifi was very appreciated and parking was free in front of the posada. Breakfast was good, with croissant, fruit, eggs ang juice. The staff is nice and the atmosphere is very relaxing.

We stayed for a couple of nights during our trip around Baja Sur, and we liked this place. Our room was comfortable and clean, and as we were away from the road, reasonably quite. The upstairs terrace was a lovely place to sit and watch the sunset, before strolling along the prom to find somewhere nice to eat. The staff here were ok, and the breakfasts were alright, but nothing special. The main attraction of this hotel, for us, was it's location.

We had great hopes for this hotel as we had stayed in their very nice sister hotel in Loreto. This hotel was noisy, the staff was indifferent and did not make us feel welcome, and the hotel grounds and furniture were not well kept. Our room was OK, it was charming inside but not well kept. They are clearly skimping on amenities and repairs.

Room Tip: get a room away from the street
