Owner description: Witness the beauty of ocean wildlife: this small island teems with dolphins, sea lions and all kinds of fish.

Amazing place, great wildlife even if low season (August, no whales). The sea lion rookeries are fun and the sea lions playful. The multitude of coves in the island offer places for snorkel, relaxation, and picnic. Even from a non=descriptive beach you can snorkel to small coral reefs where you can spot tropical fish while standing water-depth.

It's a wonderful Island located very near from La Paz, BCS. You can take a local tour guide and they will show you it. Go to make some snorkeling in the coral reef, take a nice lunch in a lovely virgin beach, see stone caves, well everything was awsome!

I took two different day trips to Isla Espiritu Santo. Each day was a different experience. On one day, hundreds of dolphins accompanied our boat and we swam in two different beaches. The other day, we were able to spot the "bobos" (blue-feet birds who live in the Galapagos as well). In winter, whale sharks and gray whales are around, so I plan to be back for that. In summary, the Isla Espiritu Santo is an extremely intriguing desert landscape bathed by clear emerald and turquoise warm water bays. Do not miss this.

We took the Baja Fun Swim with the Sea Lions trip. It was a fantastic outing. The one hour boat ride to the colony was stunning. Swimming with the Sea Lions was very strictly controlled for our safety, making for a terrific experience. Afterwards we went snorkelling, kayaking and had a fresh cooked lunch on a secluded beach. Just amazing!

This is a protected biosphere reserve accessible from usually a panga style boat. We have taken boat trips to the island many times.Trips are available from Tecolote Beach and it takes about a half hour to get across to the island. The tour will take you around the island, through caves, snorkeling, swimming with sea lions, and provide a lovely lunch on the beach. The cost from Tecolote is somewhat less than booking a trip in town. We live in La Paz and frequently take a private boat across to enjoy snorkeling and lunch on a beautiful white sand beach.Just make sure you shuffle your feet to avoid rays who hang-out in the sand. Depending on the time of year, you will see whales, dolphins, sea turtles, rays, and many gorgeous fish.
