“developing a Mayan display in 2012”
Reviewed January 3, 2013

This is a small but nice museum with a limited selection of displays that focus on historical and modern anthropology. The Mayan displays being developed look like they are really going to be nice. Well done.

“Little known history of Baja Sur”
Reviewed December 26, 2012

We greatly enjoyed our brief visit here - which was shorter than it might have been, as several exhibits - were under construction and not visible at all. THe photographs of the cave paintings were astonishing. I had not realized until I stopped here that the area was not even a state until the mid-1970s, and was under a military governor until then. There was no fee, just a donation box, when we were there, due perhaps to the closed exhibits.

“worth a visit”
Reviewed November 14, 2012

This is a great little museum to check out if you have the extra time. it will take an hour to two hours to go through the whole thing and it is very interesting to see the artifacts that have been found all over the baja california.

“Interesting”
Reviewed July 12, 2012

The museum seems a bit over priced for what they offer. They do have fascinating local artifacts though.
