We hired a guide to take us around La Paz, our tour included the Museum. I was very impressed with the exhibits which explained the history of La Paz and all of Baja CA.

Very informative.

The museum does a great job of bringing the history of Baja to life. Had a great afternoon there. The displays are in English and Spanish with prehistory as well as post Spanish occupation.

Not the best museum but it is definately worth a look. Lots of pictures and diaramas on three floors, which for the most part are well done. The native american cultures memorbilia and especially the pictographs are interesting. We do speak a little Spanish, so the staff really were very helpful in explaining things and answering question. Before you leave please check out the area behind the museum. Although, seemingly forgotten and neglected, there sre some statues and interesting replications of famous Mexican Indian artifacts worth a look ! Enjoy ! Skippyfrizz !

Its a beautiful building in an old part of town its historical and a good way to beat the heat. It can be an eye opener when you think of how many times these people had to fight for their independance. I do love this culture.

gift shop kept very irregular hours- it was hard to purchase an item we had liked and should have bought at the time. When we went back to buy it the shop was always closed.
