“Fabulous ceviche and service”
Reviewed June 7, 2014 via mobile

We went here for a late lunch and day at the counter over looming the bay. Jerry was our waiter and he was great. I ordered shrimp scallop and oyster cocktail and it was the freshest ceviche I had any where. My husband's hamburger was also excellent. I'm sure it's a very different place at night. Looks like it would be a fun place for young people.

“Best Baja fishing trip ever!”
Reviewed June 6, 2014

Johnathan and Jill are natural hosts and truly make you feel like family. I have some experience fishing Baja and have never seen such a efficient operation. First of all the pangas
Have brand new engines and radios! Rare for Baja. Secondly the filet and vac sealing/ freezing service at a very reasonable price I might add, is truly priceless. Our fish was still frozen solid when we got home to San Diego. Lastly the personal service by the whole Tailhunter family was first rate and I highly recommend going fishing with Tailhunter International!
Thanks guys for the great memories

“Its an OK Place”
Reviewed June 3, 2014

We were in the Baja for the month of May and visited La Paz for a few days. Now you have to remember La Paz is not a tourist town, so it will not be like Cabo.
You will have more of a bar atmosphere than a restaurant at Tailhunters. The food was ok, the sunset was great. It's a three sided building that is open air, so get ready to be a little warm.

“Terrible food”
Reviewed June 2, 2014

There wasn't anything that we liked at this place. The chips were greasy, the wedge salad was chopped lettuce , chopped tomato, a runny mayo dressing and I couldn't eat it. My carne asada tacos arrived and the taco shells were stale and dried out. The meat was tasteless and chewy. My husbands fish tasted bad and so we paid and got out of there. I have no idea how this place is rated number 1 with so many other good places in town. We won't be back.
