Right on the malecon in downtown. Very clean rooms and friendly staff. Hot tubs were reserved by the hour and Not hot. My balcony overlooked the street which was loud at night. Great price for what you get.

Well maintained and pretty site at the center of the Malecon. Family oriented and quiet. Nice friendly staff, very clean. Many nice places to sit and relax. The hot tubs are reserved and are very nice. Spending the Christmas holiday here was so nice with nice traditions. There were dances, music, boat parade and lit up car parade. Only complaint is hot water not really hot, but certainly doable.

We booked last minute and not knowing La Paz I wanted to me in the middle of the Malecon, Hotel Perla is very clean the staff and grounds keepers were constantly working the front desk was also helpful. Our stay came with breakfast it was average at best no offense but hey it’s free.
The hotel is only a couple easy blocks from the bus stop we didn’t rent a car as it would be expensive and the most expensive Uber was 2.50 to Sears which is the nicest Sears I’ve been in in years.try to get a room facing the Malecon but on the 3 rd level in the back the Malecon is noisy.
Here’s a tip don’t by your souvenirs on the Malecon go 2 blocks back they’ll be half price. The bad not much but worth a note the towels are like sandpaper and like I said the breakfast is pretty forgettable other then that I would stay there again in a minute but now that I have the lay of the land I’d probably choose another option sooner because when I finally booked there were limited options.

This is an older, almost nostalgic facility with the best location downtown on the beach/malecon. The staff was pleasant, but neglected to remind us during check-in that the hot water system (for showers) was temporarily out of order. This was not a problem because the water storage in on the roof and the warm weather warmed up the water enough naturally to make showering pleasant enough. The restaurant is reasonable with good service. Parking on site is very limited, but they made a space for us.
