The best feature of the hotel is it's location right on the Malecon in close proximity to a bunch of restaurants, and tourist shops. It is a fine place to stay overnight, but not a destination hotel. I paid $86 (including tax) for 2 double beds with street view, for my wife and 2 kids. We stayed on Dec 29th. The pool is unheated like most in Baja non-resort hotels, my son was in and out in 2 seconds. He hung out in the jacuzzi which was luke warm at best.
The room was not exciting, but clean, had decent high pressure hot water in the shower, and pretty hard beds. The hotel restaurant was good, but not great, however it is fantastic for people watching and the view of the bay in a nice open air atmosphere. The hotel secured parking did fill up at night, and they jamb the cars end to end in the lot, half covered up, and half in a small outside area adjacent to the hotel. If you plan on leaving early or easily in the morning ask the parking attendant to leave your car somewhere accessible for an easy exit.
Free wireless internet in the lobby area was a plus.
