The skinny:

Parking- on the street, good luck
Tables and chairs - no, its a vendor stall
Service- non existant
Food- not good
Bring- wet wipes

First you should know that you eat first, then pay later.

With so many people hovering around the stall, you really don't know what the hell is going on. Fight your way to the front, order your ceviche or tostada, wait for it, get it and eat it on the dirty street corner, then go back and pay. It's incredible cheap so if you want to have the experience you can and it won't be sucking your money dry but the food was not good so why bother.

La Guerrerense has been around for a long time and for good reason. A street vendor, she has a well established level of expectation that her food is fresh, well prepared and presented and absolutely the best in Baja California. Possibly the best in Mexico.

While street vendor may give thoughts of a bad night on the town, La Guerrerense is only available during the day - when everything is fresh and ready to serve. Enjoy this jewel of Ensenada and Baja.

We eat here every year for at least 8 years or so sometimes 2x a day. Very very good. I have experienced new things recommended by the owners and have loved everything. Even the pate which sells out fast. Excellent food and service.

We typically plan our vacations around the world by the notable eateries. And since our family doesn't fish, like kitschy souvenirs or drink like fratboys, La Guerrerense is by default one of the top destinations in Ensenada for us. I tried the black clam, uni, and a ceviche and they were all top notch. The ingredients were fresh and the flavors were definitely a step up in complexity than most food you can find around the area.

So on our cruise from long beach to Ensenada we went in search of a hole in the wall kinna joint as they always have the best food!
So we spot this corner surrounded by people... of course we had to check it out and OMG I'm so glad we did! Its crowded but worth it... I had a tostada not too sure what it consisted off but it was good I had to go for seconds. Its not a sit in restaurant but a stand and eat kinna place... you eat and then you pay... this joint sticks to the honesty policy once ur done u tell em what u had and pay no one checks if ur lying or not but its so worth it I paid all that I owed. Now if ever in Ensenada and are craving sum seafood then give this place a chance Doña Sabina who is the owner is really down to earth. She'll take care of you.
