So glad we took the taxi to this place, it was well worth the trip! With 4 girls, we found a taxi that took us there and back for $50 total, one cab driver tried to charge that per person! The suspension bridges were more fun than the actual zip lines, IMO. I don't remember the names of our two guides but they were so much fun, they even took pictures for us with our camera. Make sure you take a strap for your camera if you want to bring it with you. I wore shorts but probably would have been slightly more comfortable wearing some workout type stretch pants, only because the harness gets right up in there! The cabby even stopped at the store on the way out to let us grab a 6 pack to enjoy on the ride back to town. Then look for California Bar & Tacos (Bull Os Place) for the BEST street tacos I've ever put in my face!! Get one of each! The massage next door to the taco shop was just as amazing!

This was my second time on the zip line. It was so fun we planned a cruise just so we can come here. The cruise lines don't take you there because it is a little dangerous and they don't wan't the liability. If you are in decent shape you will love it. The bridges do require some coordination but you can walk around them. After that you can rent ATV's in the same area and go on a trail.

This is Mexico's best attraction (other than La Bufadora) HANDS DOWN. 5 different zip-lines and 5 canopies - challenging, but SO worth the core work-out. It's not for everyone - since you have to do the entire course (well, you can cheat and walk the trail if you need to skip a canopy, but what's the fun and where's the personal satisfaction in that?!), so for those who are afraid of heights and/or have balance issues, this may be something you might skip, but if you're looking for an amazing adventure course with breathtaking views while zipping from one end of the grounds to the other, this is it!

Other activities can be enjoyed here, as well...water park, fishing, ATV-ing, camping, etc. But...the canopy/zipline tour is TOPS!

We were on a Carnival Cruise and this was the main attraction the kids wanted to do. It was totally worth it. We were a group of about 15 so we hired a tour guide and a bus instead of individual taxis. 20 mins from the port. Price for the zip line was way cheaper than the Catalina one. Las Canadas staff was great. We had about 3-4 staff with our group the entire time. Felt safe with 2 safety lines at all times. The zip lines were easy...the bridges are a challenge, especially the square plank bridge. Took us about 1 1/2hrs to complete. Sweated alot and my arms were sore the next day. A definite must do!

Our family of four stayed in a cabin at Las Canadas. We were there on a long weekend and it was very busy during the day. I think alot of people come picnic and use the pools, etc. for the day. In the evening, it was quieter - but not quiet because people played music and the Saturday night we were there the camp had music scheduled. It was fun to hear the Mexican music. The clientele seemed to be mostly a mix of Mexican families, and Californians of Mexican descent judging from car license plates and people we ran across. The campground does not have a restaurant but during the day there are some stands that set up. There is also a camp store where you can buy basics to cook, and a mini-mart near the entrance. If you are driving from Ensenada to the campground there is a quieter, more run down area that you pass through. We were not familiar with the area so didn't want to wander around at night too much.
Inside the campground we felt comfortable as the facility is well-staffed with 24 hour security. The cabin we stayed in felt new and was very clean, and they have a nice view of the campground below. The inside space is limited but you spend so much time outside so it was fine. I didn't realize that we needed to bring pillows in addition to linens and pillowcases. We stuffed extra towels into our pillowcases and it was fine. Every cabin has a picnic table and bbq outside but it would have been nice to have brought along/packed a few fold up chairs for on the deck.
As for the canopy tour - very good - my kids and husband did it twice in one weekend. Once during the day - and once at night. (I went once at night) As previous posts state, it is very well maintained.
All in all, I give Las Canadas high marks. My kids 15 & almost 13 enjoyed the stay and activities. We drove into Ensenada one morning to look around but the kids were entertained for 1.5 days at the campground. We would recommend to others and would consider going back.
