“Dont miss this if you go to Ensenada”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed September 18, 2012

We just did the weekend cruise to Ensenada and this was the highlight of our trip!!
If you are cruising to Ensenada the cruise ship does not offer this as a tour but you should defenitely do it! The combination of zip lines and suspension bridges gives you a challange and thrill you cant get anywhere else. We felt safe and the staff spoke english and talked us through everything. They help you and explain everything in detail. If you cant do all of the bridges they do have an option to pass the harder ones. You will need to get a local cab to take you to Las Canadas, but the cab will wait for you and take you back. It cost us $50 for the cab and $32 to do the Canopy Tour. We were only gone about 3 hours and still had time to shop when we got back to town.

“A lot of fun”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed September 14, 2012

My wife and I went just for the canopy tour. Everything is professionally done and safety is very important to the guides. The course is challenging but it provides great views of the campgrounds. Its very cheap compared to what I would have paid to do it in the USA. If you have time definitely check out the campgrounds. They have a lake with paddle boats, 4 wheeler rentals and a track, water slides, concerts, and a lot more.

“So much fun!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed August 25, 2012

I normally don't write reviews but I felt inclined to do so on this particular excursion because I did so much research beforehand. My family and I (ages 13-50) went on the Carnival Inspiration Cruise July 9-13. We wanted to do an excursion at our stop in Ensenada but none of the excursions the ship offered looked appealing or worth the money . Through a lot of research (and persuading to my mom) we decided to go on the Canopy Tour at Las Canadas. I think I can speak for all of us that this was one of the best things about the trip.

We were able to get a van when we got off the ship that took the 5 of us to Las Canadas for $100 (it is about a 45minute drive and he stayed and waited for us through the entire excursion that was almost 2hrs long) You normally have to pay to enter the facility because it is a campground with a lot of activities but our driver talked to the booth and we were able to skip paying the fee. The excursion was only $16 a person!! Such a steal considering there are bridges, ziplines, views, and an english speaking tour guide. Well worth the money!

You should definitely be in good health and wear tennis shoes/clothes you can move in and don't mind getting dirty. We brought our camera and were able to take pictures and videos along the way. The best part is we had our own tour guide since we were the only English speaking family at the time.

Overall we felt completely safe the entire time (going there and back, and while on the tour) We still couldn't believe what a good deal it was! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED WHEN VISITING OR STOPPING IN ENSENADA :)

“So Much Fun!!!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed July 24, 2012

This is a blast. There are 5 zip lines and 5 hanging bridges. You do have to be in at least ok shape. The hanging bridges require both arm and leg strength and there is a bit of uphill walking as well. The courses are very safe and the staff is great. One caution!! The price on the sign at the entrance says $12.50 per person and they charged us $20 per person. I politely tried to argue that's not what the sign said. They insisted on $20. So, I'd suggest having your cab driver go up with you to get the tickets so you don't get overcharged. Any which way, it was still very much worth it even for $20 each. In America, the course would have been at least $100. Our cab driver charged us $50 for roundtrip and waited during out adventure. I highly recommend it. Have fun!

We are very pleased to read that you really enjoyed your experience in the Canopy Tour and we certainly hope that you visit us again soon.

We wanted to clarify about the price. Regular Price for the Canopy Tour (5 zip lines + 5 Hanging Bridges) is $400 Pesos, which in USD will be around $32.00 (depending on the currency exchange value). Everyday we have different promotions, depending if is High Season or Low Season or if it is During the week or a weekend. Therefore we have different prices but none of them above our regular price. If you were charged $20 per person that means you came on a day that we had a promotion of $150 Pesos Off our regular price, so the price for the Canopy Tour was $250 Pesos which in USD is $20. If you come in Low Season and during the week, let's say on a Wednesday, you may find that the price is even lower than that. But if you come on a Sunday during our High season you may find that the price is even higher than $20 USD and closer to our Regular Price.

About the price on the sign, since we have different prices depending on the day we don't have a sign with the Canopy Tour Price, because our intention is that customers ask for the promotion of the day (Unfortunately we don't have a Modifiable Price Sign yet, but we're working on that) We do have one sign at the entrance that says $12.50, but that is not for the price of the Canopy Tour, $12.50 is the Currency Exchange Value, so that means that the day you visited us the value of $1.00 USD was equal to $12.50 Pesos, and that is why you paid $20 USD equal to $250.00 Pesos.

We apologize for the confusion, we wouldn't like to any of our customers feel that we over-charged them. Hopefully we did a good job explaining ourselves through here and we hope to see you again soon.
