Okay, so there are probably dozens, if not hundreds, of great fish taco places in Ensenada. But this is the one we kept coming back to because:
(1) it's easy to find - right next to Hussong's, across from Papas & Beer;
(2) it's cheap - about $1.25 for tacos (fish, beef or pork/al pastor) or quesadillas (the tacos are better); $3 for burritos (didn't try those), $1-2 for beer (negro modelos were $2, Coronas & Sols were closer to $1).
(3) It's an actual restaurant/taqueria, rather than a cart on the street, so you know it's the same guy you bought the taco from yesterday, plus there are bar stools circling the cooking area so you can sit down and watch him freshly grill the tortillas and the fillings before adding your fixins (cilantro, onion, salsa, guacamole, etc - all good, except the guacamole is the thin/runny kind that seems to be typical in Ensenada, and I'm more a fan of the thick/chunky kind).
(4) Finally, quick and friendly service.
Wow, just looking at the pictures make me want to go back!
