During a 4 day cruise on the sapphire princess to mexico. They offered a excursion to the the Bufadora (Blow-hole). The tour bus took us to the site it was beautiful to see the clear blue water crashing against the rocks. To hear the crashing water just took me away to Gods beautiful creations. The Blow-hole was beautiful I've never seen one before every couple minutes it just shoot up with such a beautiful rainbow behind it. It took my breath away.I thought to myself my children would of loved to see this and they would of shouted "WOW". Yes the locals called out to come see try their food and drinks. Me and my Aunt tried the non-alcoholic Pina Colada they were made in real coconuts they were terrific. There was one exceptional stand they had all shells from lg. ones to lil baby ones. They also had starfishes, sea horses, shark heads, sting rays.I stayed in there for seemed like hours so interesting...loved it

As a natural wonder, this blowhole was beautiful to look at. We went early morning with a private driver when the tides are higher and the sprays gorgeous. The other blow holes are located in Hawaii and Australia.

After checking this area out and taking some pictures, we visited the La Bufadora marketplace with 300 vendors. The souvenirs are cheaper than downtown when you bargain.

Worth a visit - however far away from downtown Ensenada. About a 45 minute drive. The ocean waves enter a cave under the rocks and a fountain of water spouts out with an enormes force about a hundred feet away in the middle of a cliff. Do not go to close to the relling otherwise you might get wet ! I heard that there are only 3 places like this one in the world. You might be able to hire a taxi to bring you and wait there to bring you back. I estimate a cost of around US$ 50.00 for the round trip incl. waiting time. Ideal for group of people ! Negotiate your price for the Taxi before you go.
There are also plenty of food stalls and a bunch of small shops offering everything a tourist might need.- including a cold beer and soft drinks.

Beautiful and oh so much fun! We went with a group of couples and shared lots of laughs getting sprayed by the water. The view is outstanding and very romantic. You just new to get past the locals hounding you.

The blowhole itself, La Bufadora, can be spectacular or boring, depending on tides, weather, time of year, phase of the moon, etc. The stores have some good bargains and it's great fun shopping and haggling. The restaurants aren't anything to write home about, but each has its own personality and are worth a visit, if only for a drink. Particularly recommended are the margaritas at La Bufadora Restaurant.
