Owner description: Roughly translated as "the snorter," this underwater cave regularly sucks in sea water and spits it out the cave's top drenching visitors to the site.

T-shirts, candy, pina coladas, fish tacos, you name it! You'll find it all here while you enjoy this free attraction that will get you wet while you watch the ocean. It's quite off the city but it's worth the visit, be ready to lunch or shop in here.

I went on a cruise that went to Ensenada, and going to La Bufadora was one of the excursion choices - So we went.
If you enjoy shopping, then you'll probably really enjoy it. The blowhole itself is a little cool, but I probably won't go back, mostly because of the shopping and crowds,

Okay, if you are familiar with Mexico "Shopping" then it more of the same things over and over again. I would give 3 stars, but the trip over was pretty scenic and the bluff where picturesque. so I added a star. If you are in Ensenada, then this is a must visit. Parking is 2 dollars and everything is "almost free"

An hour of bumpy roads from Ensenada only to arrive in a touristy "town" leading to La Bufadora, which is concreted on all sides and painted and looks rundown. The natural beauty is pretty much masked by all the things going on around it. Skip it.

not that amazing. The drive there while staying in Ensenada was nice, but don't think it's a must see. There're restaurants near and along the way but, basically an over-rated phenomenon that is not that phenomenal. If you do get the chance to visit Ensenada though, I highly recommend spending a few days there. The town has many small bars, cafes, and interesting shops. There're many street vendors who sell interesting things. We stayed at the TraveLodge and it was a good value. Visited on the recommendation of a friend but that was back in the 80's and things may have changed somewhat even though BC Mexico is not that progressive. Went there when on a west coast vac. as a side trip leaving San Diego. Check it out if in Ensenada but don't make the blowhole your priority.
