not sure what the big deal is - we didn't go at low tide maybe that's what...but it was pretty...water was nice...we got into it and played around...but couldn't walk to the other island.

“Relaxing beach busy but lots of fish”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed January 9, 2012

went to Tup Island as part of the 4 island day trip. We hired a private long tail boat which gave us the freedom to spend as much time as we liked on each island. There was a relatively tame monkey on the island but we only watched from a distance as others hand fed him.
No toilets here, you have to wade to Chicken Island. A small snack bar serving crisps etc and bread to feed the fish.
Wait until you get to Poda Island to have food off one of the food boats moored on the shore where the food is freshly cooked and delicious

“Well worth the visit - get there at low tide!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed December 15, 2011

Approaching the island it looks like people are walking on water between two islands! The walk between the two islands is fun and the islands themselves are still beautiful and powder sand beach is clean. There are toilet facilities.

Make sure you get there at low tide though (for us - that was at early-mid morning in Nov). At high tide you may not be able to cross over between the two islands.

“Beautiful Tup Island - one of the most beautiful islands around Krabi!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed November 25, 2011

Tup Island - where you could see two small Islands joined together at low tide by a sandy causeway, and walk from one end to the other, awesome! It's only 15 minutes by speedboat from Ao Nang beach. Clear waters and you could see the fishes swimming up to you. Our tour guide gave us some white bread to feed the fishes and with that, we attracted the entire school of fish. Having them circling around you in the water - that's something you don't experience every day! =)

A popular offering from any of the island-hopping travel operators - the 4 islands. So, you cannot miss out on this if you're in Krabi!
