Nice hotel approx 10 min walk to the beach, stayed her 3 times over a period of 6 years, staff have always been very helpful, very nice pool area with a pool bar, nothing better than having a cocktail whilst sitting in the pool.

The slight negatives would be that the breakfast was a little disappointing in fact we never bothered going for breakfast after the first morning.. And the TV reception was pretty poor quality and choice of channel's was very limited..

I would recommend staying here, but for us I think we will try somewhere else next time we visit Ao Nang.

We stayed at this hotel for 3 nights and had an ok experience. The ad on booking.com said that this was a 4 star hotel but it is not more than 3 star.
The staff were friendly and tried to help in any way they could if possible but were not attentive as such. Spoke little english.
The room was standard with a rock hard bed, seriously I have never slept on a harder bed, very uncomfortable. The bathroom was ok but the shower could be better as it was fixed in the bathtub (someone could break a hip there btw!).
The poolarea was ok and the same goes for the pool bar.
The breakfast was ok but nothing special. Coffee tasted bad and generally it is hard to find a good cup of coffee in Ao Nang. Either the tables are too high or the chairs too low, they don't match and I found that incredibly annoying.

Room Tip: Rooms facing away from street are quiet.

Currently eating the fluffiest and tastiest omelette at the buffet breakfast here, wonderful food and service. I did find a cockroach in my bathroom this morning but I don't think there's anything that could be done about that!

The rooms smell like mold, the beds are rock solid (trust me, they are super hard), the sounds from street come through like there is no windows in the room.
The service is medicore at it's best, one imagines that you're coming into the land of smiles, well in this not the case with this hotel.
If you have other options to stay at, please use another hotel.

We stayed at this hotel for 14 days in the month of December. At check-in they wanted us to pay for the whole stay, claiming that was the policy of the hotel.. In the end we did - being a bit suspicious about it.

We got room 423. It wasn't that clean with dust lying around. Not all light bulbs was working. Bedsheets were torn. The shower drain was partly blocked, so it took time for the water to enter the sewage. The balcony was not spacious at all (as advertised) and was turning toward the street (not garden). There was 3 tabourets, 1 being a bit bigger than the last 2. The street is noisy, starting early in the morning at 4-5 am - since the door is made of wood and doesn't provide any isolation from noise - it's hard to get some good sleep.

The breakfast is horrible. Served from 7-10 am. Not a lot to choose from. There was toast, 3 kinds of jam, some eggs, yoghurt, a little bit of fruit and then some thai dishes.

The staff is very unprofessional. They speak really bad English (or they just pretend). They do use the "I don't understand"-card a lot. And we have been to Thailand 6 times. We felt like we were a burden to them, no smiles at all. At breakfast there was always missing something. Being knives, plates or glasses. And they are really slow in cleaning up the tables. Sometime they staff just stood there and did nothing - even though everything was sailing.

The pool is very standard, don't trust what you see on the pictures (advertised). No waterfall from above the pool bar. The jacuzzi on top of the pool bar was not working. The spa and sauna was shut down. The pool bar itself is a joke and opens very randomly. Nothing (cleaning) was really being done at the pool area before 9-9.30 am (opens at 8 am).

One day a dog had made a dump just 1 meter from the pool. Despite the pool-bartender saw it, he didn't do anything about it until around 9.30, after a guest had stepped in it. So the guy took a broom and a dustpan and removed it. He then took the same broom and swept the pool-tables. That's just dis***ting and no wonder you might get sick. Some days after, they did start to use table-cloths for the pool tables - but still!
You have to be early at the pool if you want a sunbed. The hotel just accepts that the guests throw their towels on the sunbed early in the morning, and then comming to the pool hours later.

1 week in to our stay, they started to renovate stairs and doing some gardening. We thought it was a bit late, since they've had the whole low season to freshen the place up.

Don't use the hotels taxi service if you are travelling alone or 2 people. They charge 800baht and it's always a van with room for 10 people or so. Going to the airport we got a taxi for 600baht just 100 meters down the road.

We don't know why this hotel got such high rating on TA.. But we would certainly not recommend this hotel for anyone. There's plenty of other options available.
