Walked past the bamboo restaurant on our first night in Ao Nang and it compared to the other 20 restaurants on that street seemed busy, after a quick browse at the menu, we decided to have dinner in there. The owner was very embarrased to turn us away, as they were full that night. We were visiting ao nang in september, which is low season, so obviously having the restaurant full at the time, was a great sign. Ended up going back the next evening, to try it out and we were able to get a table. And now i know why it was that busy compared to the other restaurants. The food is to die for, fresh fish and seafood was to die for. The food was well presented (dont find that a lot), decent portion size and price and DELICIOUS. The owner very welcoming and the staff friendly and efficient. Definitely worth a visit if you are in Ao Nang.
