In being from the United States, and traveling Southeast Asia for over a month, it was time for a satisfying burger-TJ's did that. Meet quality was very good and the size was filling. Service was on point and friendly, not pushy by any means. The price was a bit much (at 320 baht) but if you want a change of pace from pad thai that serves quality "American" food, give TJ's a look.

I can highly recommend the burgers of this place. Home made roasted buns, high quality meat with nice taste. Home made fries and Cole slaw and decent pricing.

The day before I tried the burgers at Carnivore as I read that their burgers are really good. I must say that I would prefer TJs burgers any day of the week.

If you like football and burgers then this is the perfect place for you.

We popped in to TJ's several times during our time in Ao Nang. The bar itself is fine, clean, nice staff and good service. The problem is the toilets. You have to go outside and they are alongside the bar. Which vas fine when they were working. However one evening the ladies were all out of order, I cannot begin to describe the foul state of them. They're didnt seem to be anyone dealing with it either. Sorry TJ's you get the vote for the worst toilets in town!

We went to Tj's for the NRL Grand Final. It is a newish place, pretty much a large shop fitted out as a bar with bar stools, booths and tables for the drinkers and diners. it is just down from the McDonalds. There are 3 largish screens for sports and a projector screening the main game on to a wall. Oddly two other of the best tv;s were just showing adds for a diving transport company!
The only other entertainment is a pool table. You can also drink and dine out the front. We ere there for 4 hours or so. It was a good vibe for the game and only about 3/4's full. We were early and had the american hamburger with coleslaw and fries special. It was excellent! One of the best burgers i have had in asia - juicy, well cooked and very tasty. The fries were a vg also. The mela sthat were being served up to other patrons looked very palatable also, especially the chicken wings. The service is appropriate, not fussing over you but quick and pleasant when needed. the beer prices are fair. 2 for 1 draught beer 3 - 6.p.m. and chang small stubby's were 50 baht on special served cold with a stubby holder. Could not ask for any more. It has an extensive range of beers that would satisfy the most fastidious beer drinkers. O
Overall we really liked this place and I would have happily given it a 5. BUT my poor wife had to use the facilities next door, they were a disgrace, filthy and some not working. She had to go up to MC Donald's.

Spending 24 nights in Aonang, you eventually want to change the things you eat. We love Thai food, but after the 2nd week there, we were craving some western style dishes, especially some red meat. We walked pass T.J's sports bar many times, so we thought we would give it a try. The staff were attentive and set us at a table. We were brought drinks and the menu. After spending a few minutes deciding what we would have, the waitress came and took our order. We both ordered the entrée size, potatoe filled with bacon and cheese, then followed by my serving of a beef burger, with Australian beef, and ellie ordered buffalo wings. They arrived within 15 minutes of ordering, and we must say, the food was magnificent. Although this seems like a new bar/ restaurant, not many people were there, but I suppose it would take time for the word to get around, and patronage will increase. Prices were not cheap, around the 800 baht mark, but the premises are new, and atmosphere was great. We will have no hesitation in coming here again on our next visit to Aonang...
