“Good Seafood!”
Reviewed September 10, 2013 via mobile

We ordered green curry and crabs for 2 persons. Both are nice! The price is not cheap, little bit more expensive than Wang Sai Seafood restaurant but the taste is good too. Can give it a try. The fresh coconut is 10 baht expensive than Wang Sai. But they will give you free fruits as dessert. The seafood is fresh.

“good service good food”
Reviewed September 9, 2013

we had our dinner here on the last day and we had the best service out of all the restaurant we ate.
we odered some local dishes which wete recommended and it tasted good.
reasonable price and honest too :) we misread the bill and gave an extra 1000 bath and it was returned later.
You guys should try the bbq prawn and the deco that came along with it was nice :)

“Too yummy to stomach!”
Reviewed September 7, 2013

Firstly, there are so many esan seafood at Ao Nang Beach and I bet you can get easily confused. We went to Esan Seafood and Thai Food (Original). The restaurant is located pretty near to our hotel, Ananta Burin Resort. And next to it, sits another Esan Seafood. Really don't know what's the difference between the two. I guess the word "Original" was too hard to ignore.

Food was so yummy but a little pricey if you compare to the street hawkers of course! The tom yum chicken in coconut milk was marvellous at 150baht. Everything just landed right on your tastebuds! We also ordered chicken with cashew nuts. Again, this did not disappoint us one bit. The flavours are really awesome. We ordered the kalian at 80baht but I am not so keen for it. Thought this was abit bland. And lastly, the steamed fish! Wow! Nice lemongrass gravy on freshly steamed fish for just 250baht!

We had our dinner there again the day after. Repeated customers get free fruits after meal! Nice way to thank loyal customers indeed. We had pretty much similar dishes but instead of steamed fish, I had Ob Woonsen Goong or Claypot Vermicelli with Prawn (not vermicelli salad). It tasted abit weird, gives you this buttery aftertaste. Their vermicelli salad is also good! Very good and generous serving!

I would definitely come back here again but would love to try out other Esan Seafood and see the difference!

“Great cheap thai food in no nonsense setting”
Reviewed August 4, 2013

We ate 2 dinners here. Night 1 we had Massaman curry, garlic shrimps and pineapple fried rice - which was really good. Night 2 we had tom yum goong, steam fish - which were good. The grilled squid was unfortunately tasteless and quite a disappointment. Service is good with staff attentive to our needs. We ate shortly after we arrived eventhough the place was full. No nonsense décor. More of a shack and its located near hotel (Mercure Krabi Deevana)
