I stayed at the L Resort and enjoyed the breakfast and the dinner at Wanna´s Place. Unfortunately it was only a weekend trip.

Thank Philipp N

The restaurant advertises with its Thai and Swiss heritage, but I have to say on our visit I was missing both of them....
We (a group of 8) went there for lunch. The restaurant was completely empty, so we were expecting a fast and attentive service. Neither of them materialized. The main courses took something like 20 minutes to arrive and the dishes all arrived at different times...the last one after 7 of us had already finished their food!!!
When we tried to order a "spaghetti pomodoro" for one of the kids (spaghetti with Tomato sauce) we were informed that they ran out of tomato sauce, but that we could order "spaghetti Napoli" (with Tomato sauce and mushrooms)...you figure!
10 minutes after taking our order, they also realized that they ran out of their "house speciality", the noodle salad...and I thought that would be the safest bet to order.
The food itself was ok at best, but highly overpriced compared to what you get in other restaurants in Ao Nang.
All in all, if you have a choice, give it a miss and go for some of the less fancy advertised, but more authentic establishments.

We were the only table there at 12noon on Saturday 10 August, 2013 and the service was slow. They also did not remember who ordered which item (there were only 8 of us at the table). They could cook a tomato-based pasta with mushrooms but would not do one without the mushrooms. This is because a child we had with us did not like mushrooms with her pasta.

To be honest, you will get better value at another restaurant.

A little overpriced compared to the rest of the area. We enjoyed the location as we were staying at the L, but the food was much better at comparable restaurants in the area.
