Reviewed October 11, 2013

For 900 bhatt, the tour started from 9.30 and lasted until 4.30pm. Full buffet lunch provided with unlimited water and soft drinks during the day. Visited several differently islands and stopped at each point before moving onto the next. Snorkeling gear is also provided. Waters are crystal clear and very very nice!

This was the Phi Phi island trip

Snorkelling at the last 2 locations, only time it was not crowded and from a personal perspective our son's first snorkel experience and he loved it

We were told 8am pick up but didn't get here until, 9am - miscommunication between booking operator and actual service provider but still uncomfortable rushing to get ready then sitting around for a wasted hour in extreme heat
The lunch - TERRIBLE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Toilets at Phi Phi lunch location - just don't use them!! Gross!!
The crowds - from the crowded late pick up, to being dropped at the pier with about 200+ other people, to visiting Maya Bay there where SOOO many people, the crowds were ridiculous
Speed boat, old and tired - not the boat shown to us in the picture, even remotely!
Push for tips at the end - undeserved as service was not a priority

Wear sunscreen and take food - or don't book with them, do the James Bond Island your with Rung Siam Andamen Group, it is SOOOO much better than this.
I could tell though that they will keep getting packed tours as there are so many booking agents and you are a step removed from the actual operator - beware & do your homework 1st!

When we got to Ao Nang, there was one person organizing around 100 people who were on three different speedboat tours. Nobody from the actual tour agency was at the beach.
After waiting at least 30 minutes at a sweltering Ao Nang beach that showed no organization whatsoever among people going on speedboats, we were packed into a tiny speedboat that looked like it could seat 20 people (we must have been at least 40).
The tour guide talked about the "great beach for swimming" and "natural setting" of the place we were going to. There were so many boats on the beach it took us around 20 minutes to dock, after which he told us to go swim. It was IMPOSSIBLE to swim due to the sheer amount of speedboats (maybe 40, 50) that covered the entire beach (it's quite a long beach).
Hundreds, maybe thousands of tourists were sitting under the overhanging rocks, trying to get some shade.
We were promised a "delicious seafood buffet". At the buffet, there was only one fish dish - deep fried fish. The other dishes were chicken, mixed vegetables, rice, and pasta. Everything tasted worse than the food you get on the airplane. There was some sort of delay and we had to spend two hours at the island we had lunch in instead of 1 hour 30 minutes.
Then, we headed to some island with monkeys. Apparently the attraction here was that the monkeys would come in the sea and swim next to you. We actually saw them swim, along with maybe fifty other tourists. This looked fun, but our tour guide said that "for our safety" we could only watch, saying that the monkeys could bite people.
Finally, the last hour of our trip was a swimming/snorkeling trip. They supplied snorkels but there was nothing to see. All the corals were dead, the few fish there were were unimpressive, and sea urchins had taken over every inch of space there was.

The next day, we had one of our best travelling experiences by simply walking down Tup Kaek beach, hiring a longtail for 2300 baht for four people - the cost of the tour for one person - and went to Hong island. The boat captain was polite and enthusiastic, the beach was beautiful, not crowded, and there were real, living corals. My advice? Pay less, get a private trip, and DO NOT go on any of these island hopping tours.

Took the tour during low season in July. Would hate to imagine how it would be in high season...

The pros: nice and clean boat, friendly local crew and enough life-jackets for everyone.

The cons (too many to list all): Tour guide Sam was unfriendly and kept treating passengers like school children (saying that if we were not back to the boat by the time arranged he would leave without us), not clear instructions as to where we could go in Phi- Phi, lunch advertised and paid for was a buffet thai lunch at restaurant by the beach...what we got was a half-empty box with the worst fried rice I ate in my life. Beaches were crowded with tourists and dozens of boats.

Few people complained to the tour operator on return to Ao Nang and were not impressed by their response. Better to pay a bit more and hire a private boat.

This is one of the worst tours I've experienced. My husband and I were hoping to get to a more secluded, spacious beach and beat some of the crowds on Krabi's shores. We were told there would be a maximum of 25 guests on the boat. There were 33 or 34 not including crew, literally packed in tight like sweating, uncomfortable sardines, several of us did not have seats. The beaches were pretty enough but swarming with passengers of 7-10 other boats, and we were ushered around like children to the parts of beach that were preferred by the guide. Lunch was meh and transfers both ways involved lap-sitting and hanging off of tuk-tuks. Have a much more pleasant day on Railay and spare yourself this disappointment.
