Quite a worn out hotel. Structure was very big & grand like the Thai temple. Rather charming. Believed it must be wonderful previously.
Staff was very good at their service which was a very plus point. Fr our arrival, serve us drinks, guide us to our rooms. Which was already ready for us. & we wanted to go for Island hopping the next day & the staff helped us a lot to call for the service & it was already 11 plus closed to midnight! As we were unable to decide on our next activity. Everytime we went out, & return. Our room keys were ready. It is really a KEY! Turn & lock your door, not electronic type. Room was spacious, however maintainence was not up to par, keep to a minimum. Only one dislike part is the shower curtain kept 'blown' into the shower area, so it was very distracting. Having to fight off the curtain during showering as shower head is fixed position. Stayed at room 118 almost end of the corridor.
I suppose due to off peak season, there isn't much tourists. Best walking street at night is on Ao Nang street. Went for massage & manicure. Krabi town was slightly busy & basic. We still have KFC hee. Use plate & cultery! Singapore do not have these now.Not a typically city like compared to Bangkok. Quite like the low structures.
In the hotel, we went to the larger swimming pool of another resort which was linked. We practically had the whole place to ourselves. Hotel breakfast was so-so & as usual charged higher. It's better to walk out of the hotel & turn left straight along the restaurant to get a decent breakfast on our departure day.
& on the departure day, we wanted a change of our transport & asked the staff to contact the company for us. They were indeed very helpful & as a whole had made our trip enjoyable. However, if we were to return to Krabi again. We would not choose this location as it is really out of the way. & Have to take transport everytime. This was bought through a deal from Juztoday. Advise to stay at Ao Nang Road instead.
