I've been to many good hotels through the years, both in Norway and the rest of Europe. But still I think L Resort was something special. There is something exclusive and refined to it. Like the Paradise hotels you see on TV. The pool area has much to offer, the rooms was beautiful, and the restaurant/breakfast area was satisfying. The hotel mach the exotic, relaxed feel of the area.

The L Resort is also close to the beach, restaurants and shops in the area. We couldn't have found a better place to stay.

Last time we spent some days at Ao Nang beach we stayed at The L Resort and had a great hotel experience. So we had no reason not to come back, this time with a larger group of people.

As expected, they delivered this time as well.
The hotel is located in the main street, but still it is peaceful and quiet since the buildings are not facing the street. So staying here means that you got a premium location, but still with the feeling of privacy. There are several swimming pools in the hotel area and even an open pool bar.

The staff was very friendly and service minded all the time.
Rooms feel very luxurious and clean and got all you need, as minibar, complimentary coffee and water etc. Beds are very comfortable so we slept very good.

Breakfast was amazing, especially the ham & cheese sandwichjes. And my daughter loved the pancakes.

The only thing that made me a bit upset was when someone from the group organized a speed boat trip through the hotel. The price was 28.300 baht for a day trip, while I managed to book the same trip with an equal boat for 10.000 baht some days later with same amount of people. And better service as well. However, that was apparently (according to the staff at the hotel) the price the company charged so not to blaim the hotel.

I have no hesitations to warmly recommend the hotel if you are going to Ao Nang. And I will definately stay there again on my next trip. Thumbs up !!

The staff were excellent and helpful. The location was perfect. The L Resort is suitable for all types of holiday makers whether solo, couples or families. There are plenty nice places to eat close by. I would give hotel 5 stars.
