We stayed here for a week. The location is great, just opposite the beach. We really loved our stay, the pool area is great and quiet so a great place to relax. We were on top floor and in the night we could here loud music from a nearby bar, but it didnt bother us to much. The room was clean but when we arrived there were ants roaming free in the room. Houskeeping came and poisoned them and got rid of most of them. Breakfast was really good, but they need to boost up the pancake recipe, it didnt taste of anything. So all in all we were happy with our stay, the ants aside.

Loved the spacious rooms and gracious staff! Travelled with a toddler who had a wonderful time at the swimming pool too. Hotel location is convenient for shopping and food. Ticket booth for longtail boat to Railay Beach just opposite the hotel. Left behind a personal item in the room when checking out and only realised when my family and I were at the airport leaving Krabi. Contacted the hotel and the staff not only found the item but also made arrangements for the item to be sent back to us by mail. We are humbled by the kindness and would like to say THANK YOU to everyone at The L Resort Krabi.

On a positive note, we had a swim up room which was lovely. The hotel is worse than a basic Travelodge hotel. The walls are so thin. The first night the couple next door had a row for an hour and we could hear every word and couldn’t sleep. Another night we could hear someone snoring the whole night. Never experienced such thin walls ever. There was no information about the hotel, facilities, location or anything in the room. The notice by reception for the weather forecast was out of date. The staff were non-plussed about everything. The breakfast was just ok. Staff not bothered either. No interaction from any staff. When we checked out, the receptionist never said anything but was making a couple of phone calls. I had to ask was anything wrong. Only then did she explain she was getting the housekeeping to check the room. She didn’t ask if we had a good time. Nothing. Staff clearly need training to give their customers a ‘feel good’ factor. Advise anyone who has to go to this tourist resort to look for another hotel if you would like to sleep,
