“The real deal !”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed September 23, 2013

This genuine Thai eatery offers exceptional tasty Thai food at incredible low prices a real find ! Make the effort to seek it out - a meal for 2 plus a beer each well under £5 each - tasty fresh spicy food the owner and his lady warm genuine hosts Dam the owner very proud of his restaurant and it shows his lady runs the nearby beauty saloon and massage spa which is also one of the best in Ao-Nang good reasonable prices - combine the two for a wonderful start to your evening you will not be dissapointed!

“A very secluded kitchen, but impressive flavours!!”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed September 3, 2013

At the end of the laneway, just passed the Laplaya resort is this tiny eatery/kitchen, with really tasty food. Not many people would venture down the road, but it was like a hidden gem. Hot spicy chilli chicken, lovely tasty prawns. Could not fault anything...

“Not so good”
2 of 5 bubbles Reviewed August 24, 2013

We decided to give this little outdoor restaurant a try mostly because we were curious what was down that steep flight of steps that lead to the beach across from our hotel. The location is pleasant enough - we found a nice shady table and ordered lunch - both of us ordered the fried chicken with cashew nuts. There was a photo of it on the menu and on the wall, which looked very appealing. I was disappointed when the food arrived and it was sliced chicken and vegs floating in a soupy red sauce with a few cashews on top. I tried to convince the waitress and cook it was not what I ordered, pointing to the picture on the wall - but they insisted it was. I decided to make the best of the situation, but when I tasted it, the sauce was very sweet which I disliked, although my husband found it appealing. He ate his, I sent mine back. They did not offer me the menu to choose anything else, though they did not charge for my meal either.
Not someplace I would return to.

“great fresh food, cooked in front of you.”

Its a cafe but the food makes up for it. 5 dollars for 4 shakes and food that is excellently cooked fresh. Take Mossie spray, but they are everywhere in Thailand..

“Small cozy restaurant”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed July 16, 2013

Order roasted duck in red curry and Tomyam gong, both are ok but not to amazingly tasty. Would come back again to try some other dish on the menu. Must try if you aim for budget eat. Walk up the small path leading to La Playa resort and you will find this small little Thai restaurant.
