Was picked up too late, had paid over price, boat arrrived more than an hour too late for take off - delay was caused by missing captain(!).. But sailed off without!! Large old wooden boat, not a fine little longtail as expected. The staff was not speaking any good english, did not give clear and understanderble information and finally we missed to see the 4th Island, since the boat was stock in rocks and we were supposed to wait for tide to come, which they btw nor ever informed us about!! It ended with all the tourists had to push the boat to get away from the rocks. Home - finally! - 2,5hours later than expected and disappointed. You should really try to avoid this company when in ao nang!!

We went on a 4 islands tour with this mob and it was atrocious.
Pick up from the hotel was at 8.40 to travel the short distance to the beach front, the pick up arrived at 9am and dropped us off amid utter confusion as they were running about 5 different tours and shepherding people from one desk to another to get a coloured sticker. Chaos, should have known at this point that they couldn't run a bath!
We were herded on to a speedboat but unfortunately me and my wife were last on which meant we got put into a cubby hole with no windows and the full force of the waves battering underneath the boat, when i complained I was told to be on the boat quicker after he next stop.
1st stop Viking cave, couldn't see anything due to being in cubby hole part of boat
2nd stop Pileh bay, again cubby hole viewing restrictions
Onto Maya bay where "The Beach" was filmed, AVOID! more boats than tourists.
The best part of the trip was getting a chance to snorkel but it was a small glimmer on an awful day.
We were then whisked to "monkey island" but we weren't allowed off the boat so saw no monkeys, so basically stared at a beach as other tour boats dropped off their cargo.
Lunch was included in the trip but can't tell you what it was like as we were taken from the boat, marched inland and told we had 1 hour, All the other tour boats seemed to have arrived before us and the queue was out the door, (it was basically a self service thing with pots of gruel and ladels to help yourself with the stench of school dinners from the mid 1970's) so myself and my wife, 2 French lads, 2 Swiss and a Russian girl decided to walk back to the beach and just get our own.
We piled back onto the boat and taken to 'bamboo island" where we were told we had an hour to relax, we had to walk for 10 minutes to find a quiet spot (don't use the toilets here either!) then leave 30 minutes later so as not to be forced into the cubby hole on the boat for the journey back to Aonang.
Seriously, avoid this lot. the worst day of our holiday.

If you're the kind of tourist that likes adventure and likes to be surprised, likes water, boats, islands and snorkeling, if you don't mind being on a bigger boat with travellers from kids to elderly of all different parts of the world, then do this :-)

No need to bring food (they care for a meal on one of the nicest beaches + water)

Not enough general information (as to plan of the day, area) - they do their best but this could definitely be improved

Punctuality and safety:
I read some people say things about punctuality and safety. I find it's part of travelling, being in a country where things are done different. Yes there was a lot of delay, but it's about what you do with that experience. Are you going to be irritated that things don't go the way you're used to? Or are you going to enjoy your travel experience and use that time to enjoy the sun/ the hotel's breakfast terrace /update your social network/ chill out at the hotel pool or just have a nice chat? There were enough life vests for everyone, there were life canoes and on our trip everyone had a seat. Daredevils went and sat on upper deck and enjoyed it much.

Remark: my travel partner cut her feet on the sea bedding stones, it was very hard to walk that part, so a good tip to all: bring water shoes.

Bought the Hong Island tour in one of the inumerous agencies in Ao Nang. Had already read about Barracuda's bad reputation but had no idea they would be the operator. We were picked up at our hotel by a small overcrowded car carrying 18 people where there should be 10 maximum. Upon arriving at the meeting point, we had to wait. And wait. Our tour supposedly started at 9. By 10 we were on the boat, but hadn't moved yet. Then our tour guide introduced himself: Pong, the worst guide ever. Pong said that we wouldnt be able to stop at one of the snorkling attractions. Also, that it was not his fault that we were late. Good start, Pong.
The hours that followed were carried by discomfort as Pong was always being rude to the group. After our final stop, while collecting the snorkling equipment, things got worse and an argument started with a group of Brits who politely were trying to explain they had already given the equipment back to him. No apologies from Pong after he nearly accused them of stealing the equipment. Disgusting.

For one of the biggest companies in the area you would expect a lot better. The boats are over full to the point that it is totally unsafe to travel. No one spoke English. No briefing was given to us of where we were heading or safety aspects of the day. The boat was moored when the boat hit the coral reef and finally came to a stop. A total joke. Avoid this company.
