“The true relaxing paradise”
Reviewed February 22, 2014

We have spent 6 nights at this resort, and we can tell, this really was the highlight of our Thailand trip. The resort itself has 6 bungalows all together, which makes it family like, quiet and very enjoyable. The bunglows are well maintained, clean and cosy. Each of them have a king size bed, therefore it is mainly suitable for couples, thus family with children did not ruin our stay.
The hotel has a nice pool, a beautiful tropical garden and free tuk-tuk service to Ao Nang city. It is actually a 5 minute ride from the hotel. Baan Habeebee offers motorbike rental service to guests if you wish to go on your own.
But the main asset of Baan Habeebee is the service, the staff provides. Nussara, the hotel manager is just awesome. She is the nicest person we have ever met. There was nothing we asked for she wouldn’t help with. Whenever we had any problem, she solved it without having to ask her. There is also a cleaning lady who takes care of your room hygene, and the night receptionist, both provided attentive, exceptional attitude during our stay.
Me and my wife were both in many hotel in the last 10 years from Europe to America, but Baan Habeebee was among our top 3. We would return at any time and can only recommend to any couples who would like to spend time together at a beautiful place, and to do it worryfree.
Thanks for our memorable stay Baan Habeebee

The level of hospitality here is fantastic. Nothing is too much trouble. Nusara and her lovely team of staff did everything they could to make our stay as fantastic as possible.

Yes, the resort is a little distance from the main street in Ao Nang. However, it is only a 5 minute tuk tuk ride and the hotel will run you down whenever you want and also arrange a pick up time to bring you back. We personally enjoyed being a bit further out from the hussle and bussle of Ao Nang.

The hotel grounds are beautiful. Lovely plants and flowers all around the pool area. The massage area is so peaceful and relaxing. We organised 2 massages through the hotel while we were there. Excellent value for money.

There are only 6 rooms in total at the resort which makes it very quiet and tranquil. We had the pool to ourselves every time we wanted to use it. My parents occupied the Supannika room and myself and my partner occupied the Feungfa room. Both were clean and tidy. The shower area is great.

There is a mosque nearby and there is a call every morning and early evening. However, we didn't find that it disturbed our sleep. It's a distant sound so it was ok.

We stayed for 10 nights in total. We found it to be perfect for what we wanted. A great base for all the activities that Ao Nang has to offer.

Thank you Nusara & team!

Room Tip: Supannika & Fuengfa were both great rooms. They got the sunshine for most of the day and are a g...

Location: The airport shuttle bus driver lost the way to this hotel, and it took one and half hours to send us to the place. It not only far from the beach, but also isolate from the most of hotels. There is no restaurant in this hotel and you cannot find a restaurant without tur tur.

Room & Service: The staffs are friendly and smiles all the times. Good point that hotel provide free shuttle tur tur to the beach. The interesting part is the rooms all made with wood felt like close to the nature, and the room is clean. But a lot of mosquitoes... yes...jungle is like that...The water for bath was cold, got informed staff to fix it ... it was fine in the beginning but became cold again...Breakfast is provided but the taste is not nice, fruits and breads are free to take but not fresh...

I would enjoy the stay overall if not mention about the sleep quality.
I stayed at the hotel for 3 nights.
To be fair, I tell you I appreciated the nice sleep quality during first night with a background of insect sound (I love the nature feeling soooo much)
However, both the 2nd & 3rd night, I heard a heavy bass sound from the club somewhere from 9 o'clock on-wards to late at the night. ( I have no idea about why as the hotel is far from the center) which made me very difficult to fall asleep. The most terrible thing is, near by the hotel there was Muslim pray speaker started to sing loudly from 3 or 4 am until 6 am !!! Cannot believe I chose the hotel with a hope to be quiet and relax regardless it is far, butI experienced two nights of terrible sleeping I ever had before.

I went home with eye bags and dizzy head, even good service from the staff cannot make up my good holiday.

This review applies to Bungalow Ruen Dahla . The standard of the other rooms may be different.

When we arrived the resort half an hour before check in time our bungalow was not ready because they were about to repair the AC . Although we were tired after 23 hours of travelling we decided to drive into the mall to get some food while we waited for the bungalow to be available. After two hours it was done.

The room was nice and clean. There was a slight smell of soil. But there was no sign of mold, as the cleaning was extraordinarily good . We felt that the smell came from the bed linen, and had perhaps something with the water used for washing.

The bathroom are a bit special. Wash basin was located in the kitchen next to the sink. Here I missed some hooks on the wall to hang the towels on. The bathroom was large and nice, airy, and one felt almost outdoors. There was a rain shower with good pressure and hot water and a large bathtub. Here I also missed something to hang the towel on next to the shower.

WIFI was pretty weak and slow. I had to move to the front desk to get my Iphone connected.

We did not use the pool, but it looked very clean and nice. Well maintained as the rest of the plant.

The resort offers western style breakfast, but they also have a Thai menu, which we appreciated. It is expected that you order your preferred dish the night before.

The manager booked both boat trips and other trips in an easy going way.

The third day the AC broke down and we got a hot night. But judged from the bites I got, it was to the delight of the mosquitoes. When we came back from a boat trip the following day, the AC was not yet fixed. We were offered to stay in one of the other bungalows, but we preferred to take some time on the beach instead.

The last day was our flight a bit into the afternoon and it would be quite early to leave the resort at check out time at 12:00. Since there had been some mess with AC and so on, the staff offered us to stay until 13:00. At 09.30 the manager confirmed that we could check out at 13:00. We appreciated that, packed a bit and relaxed. At 11:50 however, the manager asked us to check out at 12:00 anyway.

In my world, and my job is a deal a deal, and not something you mess with. However, we did not take the trouble to argue about this, and we left the resort immediately.

So it may be questioned what is best or worst. Make an arriving customer a little unsatisfied, when you have time to equalize, or to make a leaving customer unsatisfied as you do not have this opportunity. I'll leave the question unanswered.

Nut, Chook, Gi and the others who work at the resort are very nice and do a good job. However we left the resort quite disappointed due to the last day's experience.

We stayed here for two nights the rooms are clean and comfortable. Swimming pool looks good although we always went to beach. Staff are super friendly. The bungalows are about 5 min drive from town but they have a free tuk tuk service. We would recommend this place for a very quiet place to relax or come back to at the end of the night. Please note they do not have a bar! So if you fancy a drink on your balcony bring your own :)

We stayed 9 days in Habeebee Resort and it is a lovely place, and the staff are so kindly and helpfully. Habeebee is located at a very beautiful place with good options for relaxing.
There are 2-3 km. to Ao Nang Beach, but Habeebee has a free shuttle bus.

We had a lovely time at Baan Habeebee staying in a deluxe room for 7 days. Everything was great, and the staff fantastic. I celebrated a milestone birthday while staying and Nusara and her staff helped make it very special for me. We hired a car which enabled us to get to the beach and explore Krabi easily. Definitely recommend if you like something different to large hotel complexes.
