The room was really nice and spacious. The overall look, the pool and the location is fantastic. The service however is terrible. No room service. Everything is close after 10pm. You cannot ask anything at the counter after 10pm. The staff does not have any experience managing a hotel. Whatever i ask from the room service, they will tell you they dont have it.

I told the manager/supervisor to book my cab to the airport and she forgot about it and didnt even make the booking. Ask another staff about it and he said its not his job and that he is only there for the night shift. The staff at the pool bar is also not complete. They dont have enough equipment and stuff.

The breakfast station look dirty and we were there at 9am for breakfast. The food was just okay. I will not stay here again for the price that i paid.

There are better options than Naga Pura in Ao Nang for the same price. So I would recommend finding another hotel.

Let’s start with the nice thing about Naga Pura – it has a great pool area. And you should choose a direct pool access room.

And now for the bad things…

The rooms are worn. In our room one of the showers was not working and the towel rack was on the floor instead of hanging on the wall. We asked to get it fixed – and after a couple of days they actually fixed the towel rack (the shower was never fixed).

The day after the towel rack was again broken – after the maid had tried to put the towels on it.

The breakfast was very boring – and some of it directly disgusting. There was a hundreds of small flies sitting on the fruit. When we took a photo of it (for Tripadvisor) the fruit was removed right after. And ten minutes later it was covered with a net.

This example was typical for the waiters. Except for one on the waiter they were all very lazy. There were not many guests but still the food was not replaced when everything was eaten. If you missed the e.g. the bacon you should not expect to have some before you have finished your meal.

The hotel is located a little away from the center in a quieter area. So you have to take a tuktuk (40 bath) to get to the center.

But again check out the other hotels in Ao Nang. There are hotels on the same road that are getting much better reviews on Tripadvisor.

Room Tip: Choose a direct pool access room.

We were on the second floor--the first floor with access to the pool would have been even better. The room was huge as was the balcony--very nice when you have been traveling for awhile. Breakfast was good. Staff was very pleasant and the bed was comfortable. It was a short walk to the beach and into town. Great crepes were sold at the end of the street.

Room Tip: Deluxe pool access would be best.

It's not going to be for everyone. A short tuk tuk from the busier areas if town ( this is a
Plus) as you get to escape the noise. However, it attracts all sorts and is not the place to come if you want luxury. The rooms have had a face lift but out air con broke down and leaked everywhere during the night. It was also the noisiest air con I've ever heard, and when we decided to turn it off to get to sleep we would leave the fan on to try and keep cool... This also makes an enjoying noise as it struggles to stay on the ceiling! My biggest problem was not the hotel but the other guests. One day the place was over ran with 20plus bikers, all revving there bikes by the pool and making a load of noise without anyone interfering ( I could see other quests getting annoyed). Then loads of kids ( and don't get me wrong, I love kids) but the noise at all hours... This hotel needs to work out who it's target customers are.
You pay a high price for a basic breakfast, slow service and poor food from the bar.

On the plus side (because over all we did like this place )...

Great big pool
Some lovely staff that do make you think they do care ( pool bar and reception all great)
Big room with plenty of tv channels and nice bathroom
Lots of sun beds and space
Location

Bad points
Lumpy bed and covers, need replacing
Basic breakfast poor
Noisy mix of customers

We stayed in the mercure Hotel ( just around the corner) and that was better for the same money....

Hope this helps

First time to Krabi, I was pleasantly surprised how well decorated and furnished the Pool Access Deluxe room was. It was very spacious, comfortable with all the creature comforts you would expect from such a prestigious hotel.
What I enjoyed the most was pool access and the very huge pool. They even thrown in pool toys which my family could enjoy.
The breakfast buffet was not so exceptional, but we would venture out for our food anyway.
Checking in and out was a breeze, staff were friendly and helpful.
If you havent tried this place, you should seriously check it out! Will be returning for another stay!

Room Tip: Get the Pool Access Deluxe Room. You will love it!
