We had stayed at the sister hotel in Koh Lanta which was so nice (Lanta Pura All Seasons). The Ao Nang was terrible. Our bathroom smelled terrible. We had cockroaches in our room; we called staff and they did come to try and catch them. We caught two. The buffet breakfast was decent. The staff were very nice. The location was central and the long boats to ralaiy beach were across the street. The beach directly across the street was not great.

I have just come back from Thailand and once more when I visited Krabi I stayed at the All Seasons.
The staff were polite and helpful I had a deluxe room that had direct access to the pool and once more I had a fun stay.

Booked a deluxe room looking out towards the sea in the new block. Definitely worth doing if you want to be in the more modern rooms. Check-in was stress-free and the rooms were lovely and clean.

Pool area is a bit small but the 3 times we went in, we were the only people in there. Pool bar is nice and happy hour everything is B100. The staff that run the bar are really lovely and made our time there very enjoyable.

The only negative thing I would say about the rooms is the showers. They were either scalding hot or freezing cold - this was the same at their sister hotel on Koh Lanta so I'm not sure if it's a technical equipment problem.

Breakfast was tasty - usual things with an egg stations, toast, rice, stir fry, cereal, pancakes, sausages/bacon and salad. Best thing for us was it's a 2 minute walk to the boats to visit Raylay and the other surrounding islands.

Room Tip: If you can, get a deluxe room as they're newly re-fitted and a bit bigger.

Had a superior room. Was in A building. And didnt hear any noise at all in the night. Only egen people entering and leaving rooms. But small problem. Swimmingpool is small/medium size. Location is little bit far from the main beach in ao nang. But takes about 5-10 min of walking to the right beach. Safebox is 50baht per day. But the hotelcode is 1234 so them its free;-) (use your own after this code)
Enjoy;-)

My title summarizes my experience with the hotel. My partner booked it as a package with charter flight. It supposed to be a good deal. We ended up paying a lot for the hotel in the poor location, for 3/4 prize of that you could stay at lets stay Railey Beach Resort.
The hotel is just by the street on which is a lot of noise all the time. At night you can hear everything, people laughing, loud music, taxis passings by, dogs woofing and so on. Not for someone with a light sleep. The hotel itself has a river just behind and that I believe causes this bad smell in the lobby (especially in the mornings!) and outside by the breakfast tables. This also rules out staying by the pool, the smell will kick you out in an hour max.
The pool is small, outdated dectures, tired towels.
The beach outside the hotel is nothing special. Based by the busy road creates not a very holiday like atmoshphere. Again bad smell from the rotting rubbish by the sidewalks, sick dogs walking around, rubbish, cigarette buts. If you go further away- around 20 to 30 minutes you will find nicer spots to enjoy.
Good service, friendly. Our room was ok size with a fridge, hairdryer, kettle, a balcony, good size bed, air conditioning.
Again, I think too pricey for what it is though. Breakfast full of palm oil/trans fat bombs but you can also find some fruit, fried rice, chicken, thai type breakfast. A bit lack of hygiene, since for example there was no napkin to hold the bread while you cut it. This seemed to be unnecessary for the hotel and every time I put the napkin on the bread, it disseapered after I was finish with the bread.
If you leave the hotel early before the breakfast starts you will get a lunch box.
One unstable employee at the breakfast time scared my kid each time we ate.
Each day you can get your room cleaned but they will fix the bed and get you new towels but there was no through cleaning of the bathroom or surfaces- staines from cosmetics for example were left or the toothpaste- average service that was.
Overall I do not reccomend this hotel, there are nicer, cheaper, better located ones on Krabi area.

Room Tip: Section A has a lift. Some rooms are smaller than others, so ask for the one of your choice. Be awar...

Very nice room but do watch out the rooms in 'B' section don't have a lift. A good breakfast and friendly staff.
