I loved my time here. Clean fan room. Okay food - not the best but great deal compared to other places. I also got a free 4 island trip because I stayed 3+ nights. It's away from the loud beach area and has incredible scenery and a clean pool which is perfect since Ao Nang beach is not exactly the best beach around. I'd go back.

Ok, so you get what you pay for; Apart from the lovely natural surroundings, jungle gardens & cliffside view, pretty much all else is cheap & nasty. Tired old dirty bungalows, Dirty pool with trash remaining in ashtrays, rude kitchen staff cooking mediocre food and to top it off a pretty nasty snide attitude to guests. Even their so called hourly pickup & delivery had its problems. The ststem is that you call into their travel office barracuda on the main street 10 mins before the hour to request pickup.Their uninterested lazy staff didnt bother or forgot to ring ahead for me & also another group who had done so & were now waiting on the side of the road for pickup. This could easily been forgiven and been overlooked as a once off if the attitude of the travel agent staff wasnt then so terrible. Wen one of the waiting went across to the office to see what the problem was, they chose to blame him for not calling ahead, He requested that they now call & the guy actually refused? which was an absolutely terrible attitude considering the group waiting included 4 small children in the dark. I then made a further request to call the guesthouse & the same guy was equally obnoxious to me. When I again requested they call the guesthouse, the girls did finally put me through. Nearly an hour later we were finally picked up & on arrival the driver angrily demanded we go speak with the office who immediate pursued the 'you stupid tourist' thing, dont you know how to call ahead. I made sure that he was aware that yes, all parties knew how to & had been doing just that everyday, it was the office staff that did not relay the message. This general lack of interest & underlying dislike of their customers is actually the worst I've come across in travelling in Thailand so far. I can only recommend go elsewhere, this place truly sucks!

We stayed 5 nights in this resort and chosed a basic bungalow with fan. The place is amazing. The bungalows are situated in a tropical garden with a huge cliff in the back of the resort. The pool was great. The resort is not located in the beach area but they organise free transport every hour to the beach. The bungalow was cleaned each day. and staff was very helpfull with our demands.

For those who want to workout there is also a fitness room.

Concidered the price we paid this was a very good deal!

I choose to stay here based on the reviews on trip advisor. I must say the stay at the resort lived up to my expectations. However it is not a place for everyone and if you choose to stay here you need to do your homework.

-It is right in a middle of a forest, so mosquitoes and other small insects are bound to breed. The hotel has taken their measures to keep the guest protected but getting your own bottle of repellent won’t hurt.

- The shuttle service is hourly and they will not inform or wait for anyone even if you ask them to. It operates on its standard time and if you happen to miss it, you can either walk your way out (20 min) to the main road and hire a tuk tuk from there on or wait for one full hour, for the next shuttle.

-Very few locals know about this place and the van we hired to drop us at the hotel from the pier refused to drop us all the way down the lane. As it is 2 km off the main road. Make sure you agree upon your drop point before you get on your taxi/van etc.

- The nights get really dark and the path to your hut is not clearly visible, better to have your own source of light as there is hardly any staff at night.

Rest all is great about this place. It gives you a feel of staying very close to nature. The swimming pool is the prime attraction with the majestic cliff on one side and greenery all over. I especially liked the open shower by the pool side. Going by the price, the place is well maintained and clean. They have their own restaurant, gym and massage parlor as well. The staff does not allow late checkouts but they do let you use their hammocks and swimming pool until you choose to depart. The reception can also organize tours and airport drop facility. This place is recommended for its setup, which is so green and natural.

We stayed in one of the old huts which was okay but bare minimum for price . Our hut smelled like a men's bathroomand had nothing other than 2 mattresses on the floor ..very plain . However very friendly service and amazing grounds great pool looking at the cliffs . Great feel . Beach about 15minutes away by free shuttle bus every hours , which is great as you can choose to go to town or hang at the resorts restaurant. Breakfast good and all the butter and fresh made eggs or omelettes you can eat . Not exciting but well taken care of . There are some newer bungalows that looked great and good privacy. Recommended if you want to just chill for a few days .

We spent three nights at the Cliff View after a fast change of mind. Originally we had booked 5 nights at the Railay Beach but we figured that Ao Nang was better located and it was a cheaper option to make the trips to PhiPhi and other islands. Excellent choice, by the way. For the money of 1 night in Railay we stayed three here, in the room with van, but didnt miss the airco at all. No mosquito problems whatsoever. Breakfast was abundant and varied, with eggs, toasts, fruits, chicken, rice... The pool area was gorgeous, qe used it more in the afternoons after returning from the day trips. The shuttle bus to the beach area was totally reliable and sharp, we used it all the time. Booked the trip to the Hong Islands though the hotel for a good price. We arranged a diving trip to Phi Phi by ourselves (it looks like Hong Islands are currently more advisable than Phi Phi - too crowed and over turistic). The location, although a bit remote, it was super for resting during the nights, only with the sounds of the nature around. You can easily get there from the Krabi airport taking the 150 BATs bus and giving the name of the hotel to the driver. For the way out we needed to go to Railay beach and took a taxi to the pier and from there the free long tail boat to the Great View. Ao Nang was a charming place, we loved walking up and down the main street, always having our dinners in the local stalls in front of the McDonalds (great quality and super cheap!) I recommend the Cliff View for those people who do not need to be in the center of the action and want to rest during the nights. Clean rooms, good food, no free wi-fi, free shuttle bus. I would come back!

We went there on Feb month and we enjoyed it to the fullest. Full worth for the money we spent on the fan room. The staff were very helpful and saved us lots of money by booking tours, massage and transfers at moderate price.
The swimming pool was best and my dad loved it. Great location to spend a relaxing holiday with family. Totally remote but that is the beauty of this place. No mosquito problem, hygenic place. Breakfast which was included in our stay was also superb. lots of options in food.
I would highly recommend this and will definitely visit this place again.

Room Tip: - Fan rooms are cheap but good enough for the stay
