The restaurant occupies a lovely spot overlooking the town and the sea. There is a wide choice of dishes. The quality was excellent and the prices reasonable. It's worth going along to the open kitchen to see the chefs at work.

We went to Lae Lay Grill our first night in Krabi! It was really close to our hotel, but when you make reservations they ask if you want a tuk tuk to pick you up (definitely say yes, Lae Lay is on a big hill!). He picked us up promptly at 6:30 and drove us up to Lae Lay! The food was amazing, the staff was nice, the drinks were delicious and dessert was great! We really enjoyed our dinner and even debated going back the next night!

We ordered a bunch of food, three drinks and dessert at the bill was less than $100! Definitely bang for your buck AND it was a really nice restaurant! We sat outside and they light a coil thing to help keep the mosquitoes away. There were still a lot of bugs, so wear bug spray. After dinner, they even drive you back to your hotel!

Definitely check out Lae Lay Grill if you are in KrabI!

This is a beautiful romantic spot. Restaurant has an extensive menu but the food didn't blow our socks off as you might expect it too at those prices.

This restaurant is not suitable for people with walking difficulties as there are many stairs to climb to reach the top. Also, the toilet path is uneven and dark (fine for us but just a warning for others).

We felt a little rushed when we were there. We arrived around 9pm. Ordered at 9:15 then while we were eating our starters the waitress came and asked if we'd be wanting desserts and that we would have to pick now because the chefs were going! We had no rest between starter and main.

My Jumbo Grilled prawns were really tasty but no tastier than in a local Thai restaurant where the service in my opinion is better and more friendly and better value for money.

It is worth mentioning that the restaurant has a shuttle service. We did not use it as we had motorbikes so I am unsure if there is a charge or how it operates but we saw it drop guests at our hotel.

Sitting on a hillside overlooking Nopporat Thara Beach and Islands Lae Lay Grille is a wonderful setting for sunsets on that special occasion. The restaurant provides transport up the hillside for what otherwise is an arduous climb. Even then the are many steps to climb to the eating area which can leave some short of breath. The Toilet is also a bit of a trek from the table side.

That said, everything else is very comfortable and the views are wonderful. The comprehensive menu is features European and Thai Choices. Everything is fresh cooked and unusually the Kitchen Area is open for Diners to see. Service and the Food itself was excellent.

It's more expensive than most restaurants in Ao Nang but given the setting, the food and service, quite reasonable.

We had seen this on Tripadvisor, and our Kuoni rep recommended it & reserved us a table since it gets booked up....we went on a Thursday night and there were only 2 tables occupied upstairs so the service was excellent!

The seafood is delicious..my hubby had 3 tiger prawn skewers & I had fish. It's not the cheapest place (£80 including starters and a bottle of wine) but had nice views - so good for a special night out
