“Drinking not eating”
Reviewed December 6, 2012

Watched the rugby here, NZ V England and Wales v Australia. The bar was not as full as I anticipated but a fair good mix of supporters. I didn't eat here and to me it seems to be more of a pub than restaurant. Cider was expensive at 300 baht, more than I pay at home! I've been here on odd occasions over the years and certainly in November/ early Dec it always seems to be fairly quiet. I'm Irish and could not see anything "Irish" about the pub apart from its name and a few signs.

“Pity about the Guinness”
Reviewed November 26, 2012

Nice place, good food with a good atmosphere too. Staff a bit distracted but okay. Main beef was the beer, don't advertise Guinness if you don't sell it!

“Average food, nice staff, clean bar”
Reviewed November 18, 2012

Cleanest bar in town (especially bathrooms) for sure. Staff very lovely, food disappointing. Live music was a bit of a cop-out - Thai man singin Irish tunes? hmmmm

“Worst burger and tex-mex ever”
Reviewed November 14, 2012

the meat tasted like horse meatloaf or something terrible. I know we're not in mexico and thus i shouldn't expect it to be the same but it was hardly edible. I mean, at least serve something good!

To top it off, everything in there is insanely expensive. If you want a good burger go to Chilling Bar in Krabi Town, or Good Dream. Or Glur, in Ao Nang. This place's reputation for the best burger in town should be put down. Terrible.

It was stuffy and hot. At the time, we were the only customers in the building. The staff (of 5) decided to post up right next to us and be really loud. It was obnoxious.

nice to be able to have some very good British beer. Also, nice pub like atmosphere with typical pub food.
