It was my pleasure to stay at Aonang Phu Petra Reort, Krabi. We were total 29 people came here for holidays and the hotel gave us a very smooth service. Reception staff and Mr. Natt were very helpful. We have selected Poolside villa, which was very spacious with big bathroom and tub bath. Also property was surrounded by beautiful cliff view which adds to our stay.We faced mosquitoes problems in few rooms for which we had informed reception so many times , but they failed to give us service for that. this was the only cons. Swimming pool was also very good, neat and clean.Breakfast was very delicious and tasty, with lots of options. They also provided us with "Vegetarian Option ".Though this resort was bit away from beach, but hotel provide pick up and drop facility and also away from crowded city or market. We will love to come here again with big group.

The resort is near footfalls of a very steep beautiful hills.. very serene yet close to aonang town. Very spacious and warm rooms. The resort provides up and down service to the town which is helpful. The massage service is relaxing.

This was my 3rd stay at the resort and I can't emphasise how much effort the staff put into making your stay a memorable one.

The resort has the gorgeous view of a mountain which is great to see from the swimming pool or breakfast area.

I stayed in one of the pool view villas which was large, comfortable and had everything that I needed. It's perfect for couples or families.

The resort has a free shuttle service to Ao Nang Beach and runs often until about 9pm. But you could also take a leisurely walk if you're up for it. The whole Ao Nang area is filled with places to go shopping, restaurants and bars.

A big thank you to the management and staff at Aonang Phu Petra for a wonderful stay.

We stayed 5 nights in a standard bungalow.

Friendly welcome
Lovely staff
Speedy check in
Free regular shuttle bus til 9:20pm
Pleasant 20 min walk back at night if needed (or can use tuktuk)
Huge rooms
Beautiful huge bathroom
Good air con
Excellent shower
Stunning views
Peaceful location but in reach of centre

Slightly hard bed but not uncomfortable

The installations are very good!
Very quiet hotel very romantic! Love the atmosphere and the rooms are huge plus the views are spectacular

· The hotel is meant to be 4 stars but even though it has 4 star intallations there’s no concierge. The people do not speak proper english and sometimes is difficult to communicate.
If you are someone that is scared of insects and animals this is not the place for you as on the first night we saw a spider and on the 3rd night we had to change rooms because of an animal in the room.
We had to change again to another room on the 6th day as eventhough we told them that the “new” room had wifi issues they never followed up with the problem. They weren’t very willing into giving us a compensation eventhough it meant packing for the 3rd time to move to a different room.
The breakfast is very poor. I believe is because is low season but the buffet was very upsetting. Not enough fruit and I felt that I had to beg for breakfast everyday as somedays they will have an “a la carte menu” which in theory you could order as much as you want but several times they told us that we could only order one plate.
We also tried to have a late check out as our plane was at 8 pm but they told us that the only way was by paying £10 per hour which is ridiculous specially because as being low season there is no one in the installations and did not need the room ASAP.
Those little things are important factors to take into account when considering it a 4 star hotel

Room tip: The best rooms are the ones facing the pool as this ones are less likely to have any animals inside.

Dear our beloved guest,

On behalf of Aonanag Phu Petra Resort Management Team, we thank you for giving us the feedback regarding your experience staying with us. We were sorry for this time we could not fulfill your expectation. Please allow us to through each of your complaints.

For concierge, our receptionist at front desk is the one who can help you for everything as Tour, Restaurant Booking, and Massage and etc. Kindly feel free to our front desk at 24 hours.

For proper English speaking staff, we will train our staff as well as our trainees more lessons to communicate and satisfy our guests.

For insects, Sorry for this annoying situation that make your staying not a comfort one. We normally do insect fumigation twice a month. It makes the mosquitoes lessen but please do not expect zero insect. It is impossible in Thailand, in Tropical Rain forest country and especially in our Resort that surrounded by greenish trees/ In this case, you might open the door and window, if like this a plug-in device and any other kinds of insect repellent will not help.

For wifi, it is free of charge for using our wifi. However, the signal depends on no. of users and the weather at the moment. However, as our technician tried to solve it but it could not be done since the problem was occurred and been fixed by internet provider in Bangkok. Please accept many apologies for wifi issue. After receiving your complaints, we decided to upgrade you to higher room category which was suite room villa for compensation.

For breakfast, there are only 25 rooms for villa style here. During your stay, number of guests were below than our minimum guests for buffet. So, we needed to adjust buffet to a la carte instead. The breakfast can be normally ordered as much as you want to. We will however talk this issue with waitresses for better service in the future. Please accept for this issue anyway.

For late check-out, it is not free for every hotel in Thailand. Late-out requested is subject to availability and must be charged additionally even though the room is available. Unfortunately, your room was not available for late check-out requested since our new coming guests will check-in at 2 PM. as suggested by our new guests and our maid needed to clean up your room at least 1.5 hour for our new coming guests. So, you needed to check-out at 12:00 noon only. Please be informed that your baggage can be left at our storage room. While you wait for a car to pick you up at our resort, You can spend the time at our restaurant, swimming pool.

All in all, please accept our deeply apology for that we could not make it a memorable and exceptional stay for you this time. Thank you for your very detailed character to let us know what we should improve and make it a step more for our guests' satisfaction. We listen and will come up with our further improvement for the best stay of our beloved guests. We promise.
