“Stunning world class tropical beach sinking under the weight of tourism”
Reviewed December 22, 2013

Phranang Beach is truly stunning. Massive cliffs , beautiful clear warm tropical water. The downside is the place is swarming with tourists. If you wish to see it at its best make the effort to rise early and see it when it is quiet without the majority of tourists and many long tail boat food stalls that service them. It is a little sad that there are few Thais there beyond the boats and hotel staff. It is more like being on a beach on the Mediterranean. Well worth seeing but dont expect seclusion.

“nice beach”
Reviewed December 19, 2013

Nice beach to be visited. Need to take a long tail boats from Ao Nang with fee 100 Baht per person in a group of 10 people. If the group not achieved 10; the only problem in all the islands is that there are to much boats and there is a lot of bad smell from the boats

“Crowded but good place for sunbath”
Reviewed December 16, 2013

I had been here, but it was crowded with longtail boat. It was clean and water was clear but not as much as it used to be earlier (as said by one of the local people).

Good place to go for sunbath.

“One beach day”
Reviewed December 15, 2013

Visited Phra Nang Beach a couple days ago fro Aonang. I haven't been here in 6 years…I was a bit shocked from the overload of long tail boats selling food….that did not exist when I was there 6 years ago. The beauty was still as I imagined it but was a bit of a disappointment with all the food vendors. I just hope beach chairs and umbrellas never come! It's still worth visiting!
