“Best beach in Krabi”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed November 11, 2012

our 7th visit to Ao Nang and this time we only went to this beach (almost every day). Love this beach and will be back next year :) (We even skipped the walk from Railay to Phra Nang and went straight out there in the longtail boat)

“My favorite place on earth”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed November 9, 2012

I prefer it in off season cause now it got a bit touristy especially over xmas and new year with day trippers coming with speed boats and leaving few hours later.
However, this remains my fav place on earth. The nature is amazing and if you are willing to explore around, you will find a world hidden in those rocks.

“Beautiful Beach!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed November 7, 2012

Well worth a look! It's beautiful and quite a unique place, accessible from Ao Nang by boat (boats leave Ao Nang every 15 minutes or so). You need at least a few hours there to see all of the sights there, the beach is great and a great place to swim and/or relax, or for the more adventurous you can climb the mountain to a great lookout, and you can also climb into the mountain to a lagoon. The climbs are reasonably intense - you are climbing using ropes in a lot of places, but it is well worth the effort. Make sure you see the Princess' Cave near the beach as well. Phra Nang Beach is definitely a place you should see if you are around Krabi/Ao Nang.

“Must visit!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed November 6, 2012

Beautiful, beautiful, beautiful! You can stay all day here and never get bored. The water is blue and clear, the sand is white and soooo soft, the rocks and cliffs around the beach are amazing! You can swim, snorkel, rock climbing, kayaking, or not doing anything. It was fun to watch people rock climbing. Local tour guides will help you if you are willing to try, and they will tell you in detail where to grab or put your feet as you move up. There are also long tail boats selling Thai food and snacks and drinks. They are not expensive. You can also see monkeys from time to time. You sit under the trees, watch out for them. They might look through your bag and steal things.

You can take long tail boat from ao nang to phra nang directly, or to Railay beach, and walk to phra nang. The walk was short and fun, especially from Railay east to phra nang beach, you walk under the sea cave, and you can see some beautiful monkeys.
