“Lovely food but very expensive”
Reviewed March 25, 2013 via mobile

We stayed at the centara and the food was amazing well presented and cooked beautifully but the price is quite high especially after adding a 10% service charge and 7% government tax to the end bill. Wine is astronomical minimum £30 a bottle and that is basic wine that back home would only cost £7-8.

“great breakfast, tasty snacks, but dinner only so-so”
Reviewed February 1, 2013

Lotus Court is one of the restaurants within Centara Grand Villas Krabi. This is where the daily breakfast buffet is served, but the restaurant is also open for lunch and dinner. The restaurant itself is large and airy, with nice interiors and beautifully set tables. There is a pianist in one corner playing show tunes and other pleasant instrumentals during breakfast and dinner, contributing to the charming atmosphere of the restaurant.

The breakfast buffet serves a large selection of delicious food, with the menu varying a little bit each day. Sometimes we would come here for a mid-afternoon snack, and their sandwiches and Thai fried rice were excellent. However, the dinner menu left a lot to be desired. There weren't a lot of choices, and the dishes we ordered were bland or just average. It was underwhelming considering this was a five star restaurant.

The service was very good, though, the wait staff always smiling and cheerful and attentive, be it breakfast or dinner.

“Very expensive”
Reviewed January 7, 2013

Very few diners which is good but the price explains why - it is too dear - even allowing for the unavoidably high wine prices

“Great food a little pricey”
Reviewed January 7, 2013 via mobile

Had a really good meal here, a little pricey around £25-30 a head for a three course with drinks, saying that there are main mealitems on the menu for around £4-6 so you can do it cheaper. The food is tasty and service is good i would recommend!
