Charming Old house with a very interesting history. The room was clean and the bed was very comfortable, There it a lovely bright lounge with a wonderful view. The staff were friendly and professional.
The food was nice and the price was reasonable.
In light of the damage that our plastic waste is doing to our planet, it would be nice to see big establishments take some responsibility and stop using single use bottles and covering glasses in the bathroom in unnecessary plastic. Dispensers on the walls are more acceptable these days reducing plastic waste, product waste and cost. Apart from that I would recommend a stay here.

Room tip: Our room was quiet and the bed was so comfortable.

We chose this hotel for its charming period character, peaceful location and convenient location for the International Bomber Command Centre, and of course, closeness to Lincoln itself. Thoe hall is very nice, the staff are helpful and the breakfasts are excellent. Nice (small) indoor swimming pool and a fitness area. We would definitely return when in the Lincoln area.

Room tip: Best views are to the rear over the lake and garden.

I stayed here for a couple of nights whilst working locally. The hotel is lovely, the room is was in was clean tidy and spacious, with a good sized bathroom.

The staff were friendly and polite and helpful.

I think that the food was slightly on the expensive side but was otherwise well cooked and tasted good.

We booked in over night on a dinner, bed and breakfast offer. Pricing was very reasonable.
The room we stayed in was well presented, in character with the hotel and quite comfortable.
We sat in the bar / lounge area to start with, really great chilling out room. Our food order was taken and after about 15 minutes taken through to the dining room. Really like that all the tables had plenty of space between them.
The food was really good, almost as good as all the staff at the bar and in the resturant, our table was looked after by Jess who was excellent!, nothing was too much trouble.
After a fair nights sleep went down for breakfast; this is the only thing that let the service level down; no one on meet and greet, the table we sat at was eventually attended by a chap who explained that it was a buffet set up, however, wpuld be back to take any kitchen orders, however, that was the last we saw of him. Felt that this let down the side a little otherwise this for us would have been a five star experience.
This hotel is steeped in history, the grounds are amazing so if you stay allow a little time for looking around. It is well located for a visit into Lincoln.
Would not hesitate to go again
