We couldn't quite believe our luck at Aird Hill! This lovely house is set on a hill above Badachro (Gairloch) with lovely views all around. As with all family-run B&Bs, it is the small touches that make the difference and that is certainly true of Aird Hill. Our room was just lovely - spacious, beautifully and stylishly decorated with a gloriously hot shower. Wifi is available too and we were even given some wine which a very nice gesture. The host family are so friendly and we particularly liked the fact that the whole family was around, giving Aird Hill a truly welcoming and homely feel. There is an abundance of animals including a lovely dog, cat, some ducks and chickens too! We can't rate the breakfast highly enough, taken in a rather lovely conservatory with brilliant views - and on the days we were there, glorious sunshine too! This place is just brilliant value for money and it was a real treat to stay there and meet the whole family. We'll be back for sure whenever we are up that way - a real find!

We had a lovelly time here. The accomodation was friendly and clean with a great family feel. Gordon also arranged a trip out from dry island and also cooked us squat lobster caught on the day. This trip was lovelly and we plan to go again soon.

Once again, Aird Hill provided a fantastic place to stay in the Highlands. Superb location with lovely clean rooms and a hearty breakfast made with local produce.

Looking forward to our next visit!

I stayed at Aird Hill bed and breakfast for a few nights. The hosts were very welcoming and attentive to our needs as guests. The rooms are very well presented and clean. Breakfast was delicious and served in a room with amazing views over the local scenery. Our hosts were very helpful with regard to things to do in the area and this included a boat trip with local fishermen, most memorable. The beaches and surrounding area are stunning with walks of all sorts available to you. If you are in the area it is a great place to visit

Unfortunately we were only one night at Aird Hill in Badachro. The situation is perfect overlooking the loch but you only get the view from the breakfast conservacy not from your room. Gordon and Vanessa are perfect hosts and really welcome you to their home. Our room was spotless with large towels and comfy bed. We would certaintly return as the experience was delightful.

My husband and I were doing a long weekend in the highlands, and stayed one night at this B&B in Badachro. It was by far the best B&B on our trip, and most likely the best I've ever visited. When we spotted Aird Hill B&B up on the hill when entering Badachro my mouth just dropped, it looked so charming, and the views from it were amazing. The hosts were excellent and really friendly, and the rooms were so spectacular - Very scottish (which was what I was going for on this trip!). The breakfast the next morning was also so tasty, and the breakfast room is breathtaking, with beautiful views over Badachro. I definitely recommend this hotel to anyone visiting the Wester Ross area.

We stayed with Gordon & Vanessa for 5 nights B&B while in the area for a family wedding. Their hospitality is second to none and made us feel very relaxed in their company straight away. They are only too happy to help with advice on where to go, where to eat and places that might be of interest. Aird Hill is in a fantastic location overlooking the village of Badachro and a short walk from the Badachro Inn which serves excellent food. We had a very comfortable stay in our clean, fresh room which was tastefully decorated. There was ample storage for our 5 night stay, free high speed internet connection, plenty of hot water and a fantastic power shower. There was tea, coffee, hot chocolate, biscuits and fresh milk on demand in the room as well as fresh flowers, which were all a nice touch. Crisp white linen and a nice firm mattress made for a good nights sleep. Our breakfast was served in the conservatory dining room with fantastic views across to Badachro and beyond. The breakfast was cooked to perfection and accompanied with freshly toasted homemade bread. This has been the best stay in a B&B that we have ever had, with food and service comparable to a 5* hotel, but in a far more relaxed and easy-going atmosphere. I couldn't recommend this B&B highly enough to anybody.
