Two brothers surf resort is the place to be! THe food was out of this world, made by the chef Henry and Manager himself. Always smiling and always happy to serve to your needs. When we sat down for breakfast or lunch we would always get some crazy story or place that Robert the owner as been or done. Amazing the amount of knowledge and life experience he has! AT dinner Robert would explain to us when the perfect wave the next day was going to break and where we would be going to get us on the best of the best. To sum the surfing up, it was nothing that i have ever seen before always breaking perfectly! Andrey was our guide and became our friend as well. He was the best and couldnt ask for a better guide. Always making sure we were safe and doing anything to make us feel comfortable.
TWO BROTHERS IS THE PLACE TO BE, GOOOO!!!!!

We just returned from 10 days at Two Bros and it was fantastic. The owners (Robert and Susan Gregory) were amazing to us during the whole process. We were a slightly challenging group during the booking process as our dates switched multiple times and Susan was fantastic at accommodating us. Upon arrival in Nic Robert greeted us warmly and gave us all the tips we needed for the area....the most important being the details we'd need for the various surf breaks. The local knowledge saved us a lot of wasted time and possible injury. We were on a guys trip and stayed in Rancho and it was perfect for us but i'd also say that any of the places are very suitable for families or couples. Over the course of the 10 days we explored the area pretty thoroughly and i can honestly say we wouldn't consider staying anywhere else. There's a real comfort in knowing your stuff is safe up on the hill where i don't know that you can be so sure of this if you stay at other places. And you simply can't beat relaxing at the pool after a surf session. We did a couple boat trips with Robert to Playgrounds and Dairy Queens and had a blast. The boat trips are a mix of fishing and surfing and are pretty sweet. I was pleasantly surprised by how beautiful the water in Nic was when we were out in the boat. If you head to the Popoyo area i wouldn't consider any other place IMHO

Room Tip: The website has details on all the rooms. There isn't a bad one

Went to two brothers for the one week all inclusive package. The reviews were great the pictures looked great but didn't really know what to expect because seeing is believing. I'm a believer now. The staff was courteous, kind, professional, and super attentive. The owner, Robert, made us feel welcomed to his resort and made us feel as if we were his friends for decades (obviously we had just met). The villas were extraordinary (clean, comfortable, and beautiful). The whole resort is designed beautifully. The main house, where we take our meals, is like a museum with so many artifacts and decorations. Robert really put much thought into the building of this grand destination. The food was phenomenal. Henry throw down some serious chow. He is a fully trained chef. Now the waves. The waves were and are freakin awesome. Robert is super knowledgeable of the region and of wave science in general. He will put you in the best waves around for each day. Whether by 4x4 or boat he will get you there along with his surf guide (Andre) which is also very knowledgeable and by the way rips. Andre and Robert are two surf stoked guys that will have you surfing 6-8 hours a day if that is what you want. They are worried about your surfing well being and want to get you in the water, no prompting or asking. I've been to other surf resorts and you would have to ask them "hey are we not surfing again today". Like i said not the case at two brothers. Did mention the fishing. Its awesome. Robert has a full outfit to catch anything that will take the bait in those waters. We caught plenty of fish and Henry served them up. Awesome. Anyways enough of this, I can write for days on this place. Just Go. Definitely the best resort in the area By far. Thanks for a great stay.

Room Tip: All rooms are great.

Its worth every penny and I mean every penny emphasis on the penny. The cost seems about the same as other camps but when you add all the food, airport transfer, and 7 days of boat trips with fishing it was a bargain. We stayed 7 days on the all inclusive surf tour and could not be happier. They had a driver pick us up at the airport and from their all we did was eat, sleep, surf and repeat. It was great, we didn't have to do a thing. The surf guides put us on waves all day long. We would get to a spot and watch the other surf camps come and go ( they where on a schedule, we where not). The owner had great knowledge of the area, tides and wave direction, which made all the difference in the world we would wait and the spot would would start to fire off. The food and the staff where fantastic. The food was some of the best I ate in central america. I am going back next year for another 7 day tour. I have been to costa rica 3 times and panama twice, I will not be returning to them after the two brothers camp. I would highly advise two brothers among the others. Also did I mention that you will only have a max of 6 people total, not 10-12 like the other camps I have stayed at. great surf, service and food. The owner and his wife where very help full in booking the trip, and once we where their it was a cake walk. see you next year mike

Just back from an amazing surf trip to Nicaragua. We stayed 9 days at Two Brothers and were very impressed. The grounds of the resort are awesome, offering spectacular views of the surrounding countryside and of the beach breaks down the hill. The swimming pool is a nice place to lounge in a hammock while taking a rest from the surf. The owner, Robert, was very friendly and a great resource for all the different surf breaks in the area. As we quickly figured out, tides are very important, and he would always happily direct us to which break should be working on the given tide.

If you do the accommodation only option like we did, make sure to rent a decent 4x4. We picked up a Grand Vitara in Managua and it seemed to do well on the dirt roads. Most of the breaks are within a 10 minute drive (some even less), and there are a number of great restaurants down by the beach.

Make sure to get out on the boat for a fishing trip and a surf trip to Playgrounds and Dairy Queens. Definitely the highlight of our trip.

Can't wait to get back there!

Ever seen the move 'Groundhogs Day"? nuff said, but let me elaborate.
Me and my homie chose the ALL INCLUSIVE package. We went the first week of May 2012. EVERY day consisted of waking up whenever we wanted (depending on the tide), eating AWESOME meals and desserts! (Henry is an ARTIST with food!), and surfing OVERhead swell with very dependable off-shore wind and a very knowledgable surf guide (Andrey, and Enrique SHRED).

We traveled by boat or truck to several different local surf breaks as the tide changed and seemed to almost always find spots that were empty or close to it. We surfed perfect waves until our arms couldn't move. We came home to a beautiful pool and a freshly cleaned villa. (Maria Nella takes care of you're casa like she's yo momma).

!!!!! IF YOU HAVE NEVER BEEN TO CENTRAL AMERICA!!!!! ---there are bugs here. Most of them are busy living their lives and dont bother you at all. (Didn't get one bug bite the whole trip) You should be too busy living your life to bother them too. If you want to give money to a place that contributes to the chemical pesticide run-off then please stay home. Two brothers chooses to share their land with the local bugs rather than spray more harmful chemicals into the ecosystem in Nicaragua. Respect it fool.

This is a SURF resort. Surfers, this is heaven on earth!

We got to know, surf, and spend some downtime with the owner Robert. He's a great guy and really cares alot about getting you into whatever kind of surf you love----AT ALL TIMES! He can tell you some awesome stories and as a surfer you have to look up to the guys life-style choices!

I could stay and write all day, but i gotta get to work and save up for the next trip!

To sum it up, get the all inclusive package! They pick you up as soon as you reach Nicaragua. No worries. No cares. Just surf, eat, sleep, repeat. Until you find yourself all surfed out on the plane ride home thinkin'..... damn was that a dream???

My boyfriend and I stayed here last October/November. It was the very end of the rainy season so their was no one there. The only person who was their was the grounds keeper Henry who was a very sweet local guy. The Owner Robert showed up the day we were leaving to another resort for our second week there and was very nice to us and invited us on several surfing trips with him the next week so we had a chance to get to know him. We are most definitely planning on going back next year same time.

Tip. plan on renting a car because it is set on top of a very steep hill which makes for gorgeous 360 views of ocean/surf spots and volcanoes and pastures and salt flats but it also makes it a little more difficult to get to the beach or the local fishing village.
