This is quite an odd place to behold; we booked via Booking.Com and paid 75eu B&B, which was the standard rate. Despite being in the centre of the town, which is quite unremarkable, parking is easy, on the road or alternatively in the church car park opposite. The outside of the property is authentic country French, and the entrance using a numeric key, is by way of a pair of old double doors to what presumably was once a carriage archway. Our room was large, very fancy archetypal french decor, but aside from the necessities had no other amenities. So this isn't the place for you if you're gadget minded, can't do without WIFI, or want to catch up on satellite TV news.
We ate dinner at the restaurant down the road, which was fine - 19EU for a basic 3 course meal and went to bed early to read a book. Breakfast is taken in a small wood panelled dining room, the food was standard French fare, but plentiful and distinctively good - well presented, with lovely home made preserves and cake.
All in all a pleasant stop - and welcoming, if your schoolboy french isn't up to it - like mine, your hostess is very polite with a good command of English.

Received a nice warm welcome here. The lovely young lady who explained everything and showed me my room was nice and helpful. She also arranged for me to have breakfast a bit earlier than was usual, which was copious and tasty I must add.
The rooms are tastefully decorated and are just the right size.
There is no TV, which is a blessing, knowing the quality of French TV. ;)
The bathroom was clean and the shower worked well.
There is a kettle (hidden in the wardrobe) in the room with complimentary tea (several varieties) and coffee.
Looking forward to coming here later in the summer with the family.

Stayed in this B&B on our way down to the west coast of France. It is very convenient for the motorway and we would have liked to stay longer to explore the pretty town. We were made to feel very welcome with our toddler. The breakfast was super, I felt that this b&b offers excellent value for money. Would definitely return. Plenty of useful shops and a supermarket close by if needed.

Stayed at Logis d'Eawy with Mme Benkovsky in July on way back from Charente,
room was very clean and comfy with self catering facility if required. Our room was on the groundfloor which offered excellent value for the price, nice courtyard and further garden through the arch. Ideally situated in the centre of town within easy walk of shops and restuarants. Breakfast was very good would highly recommend this B&B, excellent value for money would stay again if in the area.

Mme. Benkovsky, is a warm and gracious host, and her establishment provides beautifully decorated rooms that are comfortable, clean, and very reasonable. Our room, on the second floor, had a large bathroom, which was well equipped. There is a lovely interior courtyard on the property, which is located in the pretty village of Saint Saens and it is an easy walk to everything in town. Breakfast is served in a charming dining room off the courtyard. For 73 Euro, this was one of the best bargains to be had on our trip. Don't miss trying Mme. Benkovsky's homemade coulee de pomme ( made from local apples). It is an exquisite local specialty. Truly, this place is a terrific find!
